"Spring is in the air, Ronny. A new team, a new year, I can't believe this is actually happening. One day I was filing tax returns, the next thing I know, all the balls bounce my way and I hit the $500 million jackpot. I am the luckiest man on earth." said sabby looking around the newly built stadium.

"It must have been destiny, you were destined to be here." said Ronny Jones, the general manager in charge of team personnel. "It's very exciting, I can't believe they gave you a team here in Huntsville."

"I guess anyone can be persuaded if you throw enough money at them," sabby said shrugging his shoulders "so tell me, who are the Howlers going to put on the field opening day?"

"You'll be happy to hear we got a nice mix of seasoned veterans along with some talented rookies for opening day, along with two very well established men for the coaching staff." Ronny responded.

"Well don't leave me hanging here, go through the positions and the coaches, I gotta know." sabby said waiting in anticipation.

"I'll start with our top two pitching prospects, our ace is that fireballer from the Twins, powerfullove, he had a decent year last year after being injured, but remember he is two years removed from the Cy Young award.

In the bullpen, we have a rookie closer, but he has tremendous upside. Stupid Flanders came up in the Oriole organization, with 38 saves and a 1.28 ERA in Triple A ball"

"These guys weren't protected. Those are some solid pieces, what else do you got for me." sabby said, a grin coming to his face.

"Our Catcher is coming off knee surgery but says he's as good as new, Hobbes came over from the Royals after they failed to resign him this year."

"I've watched that guy for years, he was batting over 300 and nailed 67% of potential base stealers before that horrendous collision against the A's, I can't believe he completed the game and walked off the field on his own power, he's as tough as nails" sabby said eyes in amazement of the prospects so far.

"We have solid veteran leadership at the corners with ninjatiamat from the Braves at first, and Billy Hoyle from the Phillies at the hot corner. Both were gold glovers who hit in the high 290's with 30 dingers."

"We should be arrested, this is theft what were doing." sabby said, jaw almost literally on the ground.

"Just wait, it gets better. The middle infield spots we got two of the fastest kids in the minors. Tails plays a stellar second and swiped 40 bases in the Reds organization. david man45 we got from the Mariners, he has some great range as a shortstop and great speed for a number two guy."

Those kids were first round draft picks, and they gave them away, this is just too good." sabby said anticipating what his GM next tidbit of news was going to be.

"Our outfield has a veteran and two rookies in it, jeckel22 was acquired from the Brewers after contract talks went south, he was a free agent signing who is very happy to be here and play left field for the Howlers. In center, we have a speedy rookie from the Indians organization, mj23 he can cover all three fields if we needed him to. In right, we have another rookie from the Giants organization, oasis, this kid has a cannon of an arm, he threw out 12 runners at third base last year, and has a solid bat too."

"This sounds like an all-star line up for opening day. Too bad the season didn't start today. Alright Ronny, you told me the players, now who's the skipper." sabby said, practically pissing himself at the thought of who might be the manager.

"We grabbed not one, but two Hall-of-Famers to run the squad this year," Ronny said, barely able to hold in his excitement. "Managing the Howlers is none other than Kong."

"Not THE Kong, the one that broke Alex Rodriguez's home run record!"

"One in the same, also, our hitting coach is BRODYMAN."

"The last player to hit over 400 in a season, the lifetime 379 hitter!"

"Yes, that BRODYMAN."

"This will not only put butts in the seats, we might actually have a chance at a decent season this year. With this core, we can go far. Ronny let's go out and celebrate, this is going to be an incredible inaugural season."

Alright fellas', enough of this Major League crap. We all don't have to like each other off the field, but we're gonna' get along on the field. “OK, outfielders go out and flag down fly balls, middle infielders, cut off throws from the outfield, corners, hit the cage. Hobbes, I need you to take powerfullove and Stupid Flanders to the bullpen and warm them up.” barked Kong, who was getting impatient, he wanted to start practice half an hour ago.

The players ran to their assignments when the voice of the hitting coach could be heard;

“Where is david man45, has anyone seen him?”

“Bring it in men, we need to nip this in the bud” Kong said, while at the moment thinking to himself, “Great, just what I need, another pre-Madonna rookie on my staff, I did NOT sign up for this.” “Alright, you guys seen him around?”

oasis spoke up, “Skip, the last time I saw him was going to the parking lot after the introductory team meeting we had last night. He must have forgotten something because he went back into the locker room.”

“Dude, take another pill, your hallucinations barely had time to come up with a decent story for you to envision, you’re paranoid.” Tails said as only he could.

“That’ll cost ya two!” Kong said, having quite enough from his wise-cracking second baseman.

“That’s chump change, my contract easily covers that.” Tails sarcastically rebuttled.

“You just made it four and I don’t mean dollars, I mean laps around the park, anyone else have anything to say?” The stern manager was quite finished with the conversation.

Just as Tails was about to start his punishment, a voice came over the PA system. It wasn’t an exciting, rile up the crowd type of voice, more of a soft and somber tone:

“Good morning gentleman, this is your owner sabby speaking. I need all player personnel, including coaches to meet in the team locker room immediately.”

“I’m liking that guy more and more,” Tails said knowing that he just got himself out of some grueling laps in the hot afternoon sun.

“I’m not finished with you rookie, now come on!” Kong snapped back.

The players were greeted to the locker room with a foul stench that no one could identify. After mj23 and Stupid Flanders threw up all over the locker room floor, it was decided that the team should meet in the hallway tunnel and wait for the owner.

“Good lord! What in the world died in there?” jeckel22 questioned, not knowing what the aroma was from.

“I have a bad feeling that it’s david man45,” sabby said as he approached the players in the hall, “I found this blood stained note on my desk this morning.”

The note read,

WELCOME TO THE BIGS HOWLERS. WE’RE GOING TO TAKE YOU OUT OF THE GAME BEFORE YOU TAKE THE FIELD OPENING DAY.

“The Wolf Clan, who the heck are they?” Billy Hoyle asked really trying to know what was going on.

“I googled it this morning,” sabby said, then continued, “they’re a group of former humans that were infected with a rare type of lycanthropy. It’s not the typical ‘full moon’ variety.”

“So how do you suppose we get rid of them.” mj23 asked, still have the taste of vomit in his mouth, “Oh, does anyone have some gum?

“BRODYMAN, do you still have that Silver Slugger bat that you showed to us last night?” sabby asked the hall-of-fame hitter.

“Sure, sabby, why?” BRODYMAN inquired.

“I hate to do this, but I see no other option. I’m going to grind this to a point kind of like a stake, this is the only way were going to be able to get rid of the wolf threat,” sabby said as he took the bat away from his hitting coach, “We’re on lock down until we find those wolves.”

“Guys,” responded Hobbes, “take a look in here.”

There lying in a pool of his own blood in the shower room was david man45. His insides were thrashed all around the room. Blood stained his newly acquired jersey.

“He came back to try on his uniform, what a shame, he was excited about getting his call up,” Hobbes said somberly.

“Everybody meet on the ball field in an hour, we need to stop this.” The stern owner said as he continued to grind the silver bat to a point.

david man45 has been eliminated. The rest of you have until Tuesday at 7pm EST to get your vote in on who is the wolf (if all votes are already cast before then, I will ask if everyone is sure and we will continue). You can discuss anything about the game (who you think is a wolf, who you think isn’t a wolf, etc.) here. Since there are 11 of you remaining we just need a majority vote to see who gets eliminated next. I need the hunter to send me a PM on whose identity he would like to know.

To answer all of your questions:

It is difficult to tell exactly what type of medium was used on the note. My best guess was that it was written in ink and like it was stated above, in all caps. The note was passed around the group and nothing really unusual was noticed.

The security camera tapes were examined. The last moments of david man45's life were there, well, most of it anyway. david man45 was last seen in his locker, a look of amazement in his eyes. He sat there, in front of his locker, holding his jersey out in front of him. He slid the jersey over his shoulders and slid it on over his street clothes. Then the lights go out. About ten minutes later, the lights return and david man45 is gone.

The team name was just coincidence. There was a "Name the Team" contest in Huntsville where the people of the city submitted names. An independent marketing group then picked a small group of names which were then voted by the people of Huntsville, as you can see, Howlers was the name selected.

mj23 we are NOT going to die! Get yourself together and focus. Remember to sleep with one eye open.

Because of privacy issues placed in the players labor agreement, audio is not aloud with security cameras installations. Security cameras are not installed in the shower area (what kind of operation do you think we are running here). Since david man45's body was located in the shower area, we have no clear cut picture of the guilty party. The time stamp on the tape was 10:45pm, approximately 50 minutes after the party was over.

I used to play with a pitcher by the name of Randy Wolf. Everytime he'd be on the bump there would be a group of gentleman in the 400 level bleachers in centerfield that would dress as wolves and went by the name of "Wolf Pack". The story continues...

"So it's decided then, Tails is a wolf," sabby said gripping the altered silver bat, "hey, where is he?"

"There he goes!" yelled Billy Hoyle, "he's getting away."

Tails was darting through the locker room door on to the playing field. The rest of the team ran out after him as he valiantly tried to make his escape. He jumped as high he could over the left center field fence, but he just couldn't muster enough strength to get up and over.

"You're making a huge mistake, I'm not a wolf, I AM NOT A WOLF!!!!!" said Tails as mj23 leaped up and grabbed him by the ankle and yanked him down. The rest of the team caught up to the two and waited for further instructions.

"Take him to the visiting teams bullpen and tie him to the cage." said sabby.

The players did as they were instructed, taking the fallen Tails to the bullpen, he had given up the struggle, he knew that his fight was over.

"Any last words, wolf." sabby said as he gripped the bat in his hand.

"What does it matter jackass, I'm not going to change your minds anyway." Tails responded now defeated.

"Fair enough, this isn't going to be for the faint of heart. Some of you should probably look away." sabby said, and with that he swung the bat right at Tails' head, which was probably enough to kill him, "Can't take any chances," he then proceeded to take the sharpened end of the bat and pierce it through Tails' chest, "That should do it."

"You..you...killed him," oasis said, almost to astonished to pop the top of his pill container, but managed to choke down a couple to 'calm him down'.

"It's either him or us," BRODYMAN said. "It had to be done."

"Alright guys, its been a long day, get some shut eye." sabby said.

"Yeah, like that's going to happen," Hobbes said.

The story continues….

The morning game sooner than usual, it was different in that everyone looked a bit restless. That would be common place if you knew you were amongst man eating wolves waiting for you to blink the wrong way so they could slaughter you. With that in mind, everyone met on the ball field to take account of the events that just unfolded.

“I must admit, those luxury suites are real nice, boss,” Billy Hoyle said smugly, “It’ll give a nice view of my towering home runs.”

“Mine was real nice, too,” mj23 agreed, “I know they’ll love the view of me diving for gappers and stealing second base from where I was.”

“I’m glad you boys enjoyed your rooms, but we have bigger things to discuss right now,” sabby said as he was cleaning off the remaining blood from Tails that was clinging to the silver bat, “First of all, everyone present and accounted for?”

The group looked around. A sickening feeling came across all of them.

“Stupid Flanders isn’t here.” Kong responded since everyone else was in shock.

“Where was he staying?” questioned Hobbes, figuring the worse had become of the young relief pitcher.

“He was up in that suite right there.” sabby pointed with the now glistening bat at a room on the upper deck, “let’s go and check it out.”

The group ran up to the place where Stupid Flanders had slept for the night. The door pushed open without the least bit of resistance. The smell of blood was in the air again and the group found Stupid Flanders ripped to shreds on the cot that had been laid out for him to sleep on. With this new found information, the group went back to the ball field.

“Guess I’m going to have to relieve myself in those close ball games.” powerfullove said as he looked at his teammate, then slowly closed the door behind him.

Stupid Flanders, you were the next victim of the wolves, so you have been eliminated. Hunter, you may now PM me for the identity of one of the remaining players. It’s vote time people, you have until Friday at noon EST to place your vote.

The only reason I appear to be calm is because I'm trying to mask my own fear. If we're going to make it through this, we must be able to think rationally. If all of us started screaming that we were going to die, we would not be able to find the wolves. You know what, I am terrified. But screaming and popping pills aren't going to help us. I agree with some of what Hobbes has said. MJ and Ninja do seem suspicious. Ninja's most recent comment might be to cover up his guilty conspiracy or him and MJ might be on opposit sides. Only time will tell. But for now I vote MJ too.

Well, I disagree with the lot of you! I voted for tails and I stand by it. No guilt here. The guy had the crazy eyes and we had to take action. It can't the rookie mj23, he seems a lot more cool and collected than I'd expect a rookie to be through all of this. I think he'd be more jittery if he were expecting he sharp end of Hi-Ho silver over here.

Hobbes isn't nearly agile enough to be killing anyone with his knees, but the vet does have plenty of experience and respect to be calling shots...but he's got my benefit of the doubt...for now.

The two players were standing next to the accused and quickly grabbed the nearest appendage. His fate now decided, mj23 knew his impending doom was coming. He thought that running away and trying to find an exit, any exit would be his only saving grace.

“Any last words wolf?” sabby said coldly.

“I AM NOT A WOLF!! WHY CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT!!” mj23 said squirming around trying to loosen himself free, then he had a plan.

“He fainted,” oasis said shockingly.

“Kid, you alright, hey kid.” Billy Hoyle said as he loosened his grip just for a moment.

This was the opening mj23 was looking for, he shook free from Hobbes and took off for the first base bleachers.

“There he goes,” yelled powerfullove, “get him!!”

“Move out of my way,” sabby said as he had his sights on mj23. He reared his arm back with the silver bat in hand and flung it through the air with amazing speed. The bat rotated end over end and stuck right between the shoulder blades of mj23, automatically falling him to the ground. The group ran over to the body, still twitching a bit and finally lying there lifeless. The attention then was centered upon the owner who promptly thrusted the bat all the way through the body then back out again.

“Where did you learn to do that?” Kong said still in awe at the matter at which his rookie infielder was slain.

“That doesn’t matter, hopefully this ends our wolf infestation.” sabby said, pulling out a handkerchief and cleaning off the bat.

If only there was a way to know we were killing the wolves, but mj23's face remains frozen in his mind. I had been sure before the vote that I was right, but now remorse washes over me. I have a feeling that the wolves are sitting back and letting us pick one another off. Reminds me of the moral of zombie movies, that the people are worse than the zombies they were fighting.

I'm open to suggestions on how to get out of this alive.

I'd like to get ahold of some of oasis's pills so I can figure out what they really are. He claims it's anxiety, but there's no way he needs the sheer amount of pills he's ingested. I doubt that they are any type of performance enhancers. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten an O.D. Possibly he needs them to quiet his conscience and forget the terrible things he's done. Or he could just be a junkie.

I know everybody's thinkin' the same thing - I hope we've been doin' the right thing too. The only thing that is certain right now is that whoever is responsible for this could be any one of us. We're all suspects, in my opinion. Nobody else has been in the stadium or locker room except our team - or has there? Anybody seen anyone who looks suspicious since this all began??

OOC : Sorry guys, I've been able to log in about 10 minutes of computer time this weekend (up until now). So let's continue.

With the morning swiftly approaching on another frightful day, the players find themselves in the same locker room where the killing spree had started. All of them still very weary of the events that have taken place the past few days. All of them came in one by one to the room, discussing what was to happen next.

"Do you think what were doing is right?" Kong asked with a less than pleasant look, he facial expression had said it all, he was spent.

"I have no idea anymore, there's no way to tell if were getting rid of the wolves until we all show up the next morning," sabby said, "it's a wait and see type of proposition."

"This is the type of thing that could cause some serious mental issues," oasis said as he went to his pocket for his usual feast of prescriptions.

"You would know best," powerfulllove said as he observed his teammate pop pill after pill into his mouth, "I though you said you were going to stop taking those things."

"Oh that, yeah, that was just for yesterday, my shrink says that it's not good if I stay off my medication for over a 10 hour time period." oasis responded as he finished swallowing his ration for the time being.

"Let's get down to business," Hobbes said as he observed the room, "is everyone here?"

"All of us, except for," BRODYMAN looked around the room and his face then looked straight down to the floor, except for jeckel22."

"You have got to be kidding me," Billy Hoyle said and then looked over to his owner,"this is just getting worse man, you got to let us go, let us fend for ourselves."

"So what, they can hunt us down one by one out there, take out our families," sabby said as he looked his slugger straight in the eye, "you know as well as I do that we can not endanger the lives of our loved ones with this."

With that being said over the stadium loud speaker an eerie, blood curdling howl was heard that made everyones hair stand on end.

"What the hell was that," sabby said he knew what it was but was afraid to find the answer.

"Let's go to the ball field and see if we can find out what's going on," ninjatiamat said to the group, all agreed.

The group ran down the hallway and up the stairs to the dugout. From there the group proceeded to the pitching mound in the center of the diamond. Then, one of them spoke:

"Look, over there," sabby said with his new signature weapon of choice pointing toward the center field bleachers.

The group looked in horror as the saw what was left of jeckel22's maimed body hanging from the flagpole in center field. The wolves had claimed another victim, what was left for the group now had to be decided and soon, if not they were sure to parish.

jeckel22 you were the next victim of the wolves and are now eliminated. I need the hunter to PM me their choice on who they want to be the next identity chosen. The rest of you have until Tuesday evening (sooner if you have all decided) to vote on the wolf.

Since powerfullove got the most votes and did not vote himself...

The group looked at each other, pointing an accusing finger at each other. The anxiety was at an all time high as they were not sure if they were going to make it through the night again. Then an observation was made;

"Hey powerfullove, you're awfully quiet over there," sabby said, raising a suspecting look at the pitcher's direction, "what do you have to say for yourself."

The pitcher, knowing this was an inopportune time to be tongue-tied, did not respond. He looked around as all eyes were piercing through him. He tried to muster something, anything, so that he could survive the ideas of the angry mob. But, he could not say a single word.

"He's got to be a wolf," Billy Hoyle said as he grabbed the pitcher by the arm. Hobbes grabbed the other arm and the pitcher was now subdued.

"If you have anything to say, do it now," sabby said as he gripped the bat in his right hand.

Powerfullove said nothing, he let his head hang down and waited for his last few moments of life. With this display sabby proceeded to lance the bat through the torso of his starting pitcher. Powerfullove raised his head and gasped his last breath, his body now going limp in the restrainers hands.

"Too bad, he had some great skill, Kong said, as his hitting coach, BRODYMAN nodded his head in agreement.

"What do we do now, we need some sort of plan," oasis said as he guzzled down another half dozen pills to keep himself on the side of normalcy.

"Tonight, we sleep out here, and keep watch on shifts. If there are any wolves left, they would be crazy to show their faces." the over-zealous owner said. With that, the players set up sleeping arrangements and shifts and attempted to get some sleep.

The light of the new day came sooner than all expected. The group awoke to a startling surprise that none were prepared for.

"What the heck is this," pointed Kong to a dragged trail in the infield dirt, "Who's missing?"

"Billy Hoyle isn't here," oasis stated, noticing the power hitter was no where to be seen.

"Who was on last watch, last night." BRODYMAN questioned.

"I was," sabby said, "Sorry guys, I fell asleep half way through."

"Did any one hear anything last night?" Hobbes asked everyone.

Everyone looked at each other, no one had an answer to the question.

"We have to see if Billy Hoyle is alright," ninjatiamat responded.

The group agreed and followed the trail to the visitors bullpen. The door swayed slowly in the breeze and the aroma in the area was less than pleasant, the group was preparing for the worst. When they turned the corner the sight of the fallen slugger was a bit to bear. He was slashed all over, but looked like he attempted to put up a fight. He had a bat in his hand that was shattered into tiny wooden shards.

"Not the way to end a Hall of Fame career." sabby said solemnly as the group went back to the pitcher's mound to discuss the events that had just transpired.

Billy Hoyle, you are the next victim of the wolves and thus have been eliminated. Hunter, PM me whose identity you wish to know. Remaining players vote on who you think is a wolf.

The story continues....

The dwindling group, now scared for their lives had made their selection. It has been a difficult time watching their teammates getting slaughtered one by one. Then on the other side of the coin, have they made the correct decisions killing who they believed to be wolves, only time will tell.

"So, it's been decided, grab him." sabby commanded as Hobbes and oasis grabbed the Hall of Fame hitter.

"Are you seriously going to do this to me, me, of all people." BRODYMAN said as he felt two of his players grab him by each arm.

"I hate to do this, but we have no choice. If you're a wolf, which we think you are, you have to be terminated." sabby said as he reared back the bat that BRODYMAN had won as an award for hitting excellence.

As sabby started his swing a yell of;

"NNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" BRODYMAN screamed , trying to convince his obsessed owner to stop his swing, but the momentum was too great and the bat sliced through the chest of the hitting coach, the bat going clean through his body.

"When will this insanity end. This is not right." ninjatiamat said looking at the remnants of BRODYMAN.

"Hopefully, it ends today." sabby said, looking at the remaining few of his baseball investment.

BRODYMAN you have been accused of being a wolf and have been terminated. Wolves, PM your vote to me by tomorrow.

"He was staying up in the press box," sabby remembered, "he wanted to get a perspective over the ball field to see if he could see anything that may tip him off. Let's go!!"

The group sprinted to the upper deck press box to see the remains of Hobbes splattered all over the small room. Everything was disheveled all over the room. Microphones and monitors yanked from their positions. Wires strewn throughout the room. The catcher had met his ultimate doom.

"I HAVE HAD IT! AT LEAST ONE OF YOU THREE IS THE WOLF!! YOU HAD BETTER FIND OUT WHO IT IS!!!" sabby yelled to the remaining members of his so called all-star expansion team.

Hobbes has been claimed as the next victim of the wolves and thus has been eliminated. We're down to the final three. Will the human(s) survive or will the wolf(ves) claim another victim? Hunter, PM me your next selection and let the voting begin.

well it comes down to this... if hobbes was not the wolf then who is *takes pills* i think i know there has been one person pointing their finger at me and no one was listening to them and now he has killed off hobbes as a strategic move so that i look like the wolf. now i know the wolf is not kong the wolf is ninja and i only have to prove that to kong... or do i take the side of ninja because Kong's math was wrong and math is never wrong unless something does not add up and what would not add up is kong not putting him self in as the wolf...

seeing how kong did not vote for me shows me that 1 he is still trying to play the game and make me think he is not the wolf

I've been under some suspicion the entire time. So, no, I'm not the last person anyone would expect to be a wolf. The reason I suspect Kong and not you is that you were dead to rights a few votes ago, and then Kong changes his vote to Powerfullove and mostly everybody goes with him. Why would he do that, especially when it seemed nothing could save you? Why do you think he's never voted for either of us? We've been at each other's throats the entire time. He could just sit back and let us kill each other. I knew with the last vote that I had to take a risk. I didn't know whether Brody was a wolf or not, but I was convinced that not only was Kong a wolf, he was the leader of the wolves. We were running out of time. We needed to make sure we got a wolf. When Brody returned, Hobbes and oasis looked like they were willing to change their votes. I decided that I would vote for the sure thing and get rid of Kong. It turns out I misinterpreted their comments and suddenly I'm in this pickle, and Kong is just sitting back and laughing at me. Where is he hiding, anyway?

"So, that's the way you're going to decide this, you can't do this to me!" ninjatiamat pleaded with the group.

"We can't let any more killings happen here," Kong said grabbing the corner infielder.

"I'll help you hold him," oasis said as he gulped another handful of pills.

"I hate to do this, but it'll be justified if you're the one killing off my players." sabby said as he reared the bat back he hoped for the last time.

With that ninjatiamat shook off the two restraining him and stopped the bat in mid swing. The owner was no match for the slugging first baseman and the bat was now in ninjatiamat's possession. "No one move, or I will hit you into next week," the slugger said.

Unfortunately for the group, ninjatiamat did not have eyes in the back of his head and the most unexpected thing happened. oasis darted toward ninjatiamat and speared him to the ground, sending the bat flipping end over end into the air. Seeing an opportunity, both sabby and Kong raced over to subdue the accused.

"You're making a huge mistake, I'm not a wolf," ninjatiamat exclaimed, "OH NO!!!!!"

The problem now faced by ninjatiamat was that the bat that was rotating in the air was now on its way down and sure enough planted itself through the chest of the now slain ball player. With that a blinding light came over the field and for an instant, the remaining people could not see what was going on. The light subsided and much to the surprise of the group, everyone was alive and well.

"Wha, what happened?" mj23 questioned being a little puzzled about the events that had just transpired.

"I, I'm not sure," BRODYMAN responded, "I felt like I had an outer body experience."

"Do any of you remember anything?" sabby inquired from the group.

"Yeah, dumbass. You killed me, well, at least I thought you killed me." the always obnoxious Tails responded.

"Yeah, but I blacked-out and was never sure where I was," ninjatiamat said trying to get his bearings straight about him.

"Are we done, are the wolves gone." Billy Hoyle asked hoping that the everything was back to normal.

"I'm not exactly sure, but look." david man45 said, pointing to the score board.

The score board was turned on with a very stunning score on the board, it read:

With that the team managed to make it through its inaugural season with an unprecedented 94-68 record, qualifying them to a play-off birth against the Rangers. They won the series 4 games to 2 but ran into a buzz saw of a team in the Orioles in the league championship series, losing in a decisive game seven. Although their team name may have implied it, the talk of wolves was never discussed in the dugout or front office ever again.

The humans win!!! Thank you guys for playing your parts perfectly. I hope you enjoyed playing, I tried my best. This was really fun to see the game from behind the scenes. If you don't like the ending, TOUGH, I couldn't kill you guys. I had to bring you all back, I like you too much.

Welp, see i wasn't lieing.. i just have horrible role playing skills. I tried to be a jackass before the incident and serious when it happened and all it did was backfire.

EDIT: I gotta say, i assume Ninjatiamat decided to kill Davidman at the start? that right there was a straight up 'point at Tails' jester. Good move by the wolves right there.

If only I hadn't changed my vote in the second to last vote. I nearly won anyway, even without much help from powerfullove or Brody. Davidman went first because he did not post. It was a coin flip between Tails and oasis in the first vote, I chose Tails because he was more annoying. Stupid Flanders did not vote, so we decided, no vote, no life. Brody became concerned that we had all voted for the same person, so we needed to split our vote. Knowing that Brody was targeting oasis, I was desperate to find a reason to get rid of someone else. When mj23 voted for Hobbes for almost no reason after I defended him, I knew that mj had to go. In the next kill, I realized that jeckel22 hadn't garnered any suspicion. So he was next to go. At this juncture, we knew that if we got rid of one more human, we'd win. So we went after the most suspicious person, oasis. Oasis was almost dead when Kong reneged on his vote and sabby decided to change the rules. Suddenly powerfullove was dead because he was unable to cast a vote. Knowing that Brody was probably next, I decided to kill off Billy. The general perception was that Billy and I were aligned, and that if he were to be killed by the wolves, it would give me more credibility. I was perfectly willing to sacrifice Brody, but then he shows up and it appears that Hobbes and oasis were changing their votes. I made a catastrophic mistake and changed my vote. Turns out they weren't and now i was exposed. I tried my best to convince oasis, but he couldn't make up his mind. It's disappointing, I came very close to winning twice.

Alternate ending:

"I hate to do this coach, but I can't have my player's lives be in danger anymore," sabby said reluctantly grabbing the bat that was covered in the blood of the slain.

Kong being a man of honor and respect, did nothing but drop to his knees and put his head down.

The owner did what he had to do. He swung full force at the Home Run King's head and made a direct hit with the manager's head, breaking his neck and killing him instantly.

"Well, that should finally put an end to the wolf problem," oasis said seemingly looking relieved for the first time since he arrived in Huntsville, "Ninjatiamat, you're not looking too good."

The outfielder was right, his team mate was not looking well at all, in fact, he was transforming into his natural form, the form of a wolf.

"It, it, it was you all along," oasis stumbled to get the words out of his mouth, and further stumbled to get the cap off his medication.

Ninjatiamat then let out a a high pitch howl into the air, and two more wolves came out of no where to semi-surround the anxiety-ridden ball player. "Meet my associates, BRODYMAN and powerfullove."

"B, b, but you guys are d, d, dead, sabby ran that silver bat right through your hearts." oasis stammered more, "sabby, get them with the bat, kill those wolves."

oasis turned around to the shock of his life. His owner was not the same person he had claimed to be, he too, was a wolf. oasis knew there was no escape and the wolves pounced on their final victim as a darkness fell over the ballpark.

So Sabby was a wolf? though nice alternate ending, when are you going to do another one of these?

Let me just say that the only reason Kong pulled off this win was because we're all a bunch of teachers pets. Admit it, as soon as a mod or one of the more important people here lock in their vote, everyone just comes to them like eager puppy dogs, that's the really great advantage Hobbes had... It's also why I got killed off. Kong changed his vote to me and you all eagerly followed. On a side note, we killed jeckel first because he seemed to actually be in the game, Kong was destined to be next, since his little contribution to the game would make him a random kill. Don't why he wasn't killed for doing that, I was... -_____-* If that round wouldn't have happened like it did, we would have easily pulled it off, since I was almost never suspected of being a wolf. It was Ninja and Brody who where always in the spotlight of suspicion.

Otherwise great game guys. Congragulations, Sabby, for making another great WOLF.

PS: Stop picking me to be a wolf, it's all I've ever been and I'm getting tired of it. XD

@powerfullove. I don't know if that is 100% right. Several people sometimes voted with me on some rounds and against me on other rounds. But if it is corrrect then you could have killed me right away. Plus if it is right then it could still work in your favor. If I vote for the wrong person and everyone follows then the wolves would've come out ahead.

The only problem was that since you were unactive back then, and we figured you would keep on that path and we could have finished you off at any moment. It was when you became more involved that we, or at least I, realized that we had made a wrong decision. It was also too late to correct that mistake, as killing you off would definetely uncover one of our identities.

for the most part i went with the popular vote it was only at the end i started to get stratigic. right at the death of PFL everyone had voted for me except for kong he voted for PFL so i thought to myself its either keep my vote the way it was or change my vote to match kong to try to draw a tie. so i changed my vote and it payed off a few others did as well because PFL was a little inactive... and right after that hobbes and i entered into an alliance and watched everyone else... we thought thier was something going on with billy/kong so we took out billy... then we took out brody and ninja was next but he killed hobbes first... and i was thrown that kong did not vote for me when it was a sure that that it would save himself but no he voted ninja so i went with it.
