i saw the lone ranger this week and i thought it was pretty good johnny dep was awesome in the movie i thought he did a great job but the guy that played the lone ranger i felt was kinda good thought more people were raving about johnny dep i guss cuzz hes a bigger star then the guy.


i saw that critics gave the movie like a 5 or 6 pretty much though i would of gave the movie a 6 or 7 lil more then that . i mean anyone who saw the movie tell me what you think .

I liked it. I also disagreed with the critics. Thought it was pretty funny. It wasn't meant to be a super serious western movie. Johnny Depp was pretty good in it. The movie reminded me of western Pirates of the Caribbean lol.

I watch old westerns and they are often inaccurate, so is this new movie accurate? I don't look for stunning realism but I'd like if these movies respected history a little more.

Honestly, its only because of Johnny Depp. If Tanto was cast by anyone else, it would've just been another western flick. I still enjoyed it. Great action, funny, ending battle scene was brilliant.

But if the cast someone else they wouldn't act the same way. Depp is kinda type casting himself at this point. His roles have to be silly and over the top. Also make up.

Don't ask me I didn't go see it and I probably won't see it for a few years. I doubt it's a very good western, it seems more like an action movie set in that time period.
