PlayStation Emulator?

I want to play Final Fantasy 7 but I don't know any good emulators. I spent hours today trying to set several of them up but I couldn't get them to work even after a lot of troubleshooting. Anyone find any easy ways to play FF7 or PS games in general?
If worse comes to worse, I'll probably just end up buying a copy on ebay.

not a clue what BIOS is. I just run the ISO after downloading a game. Memory card thing confuses me too, so I just use save states. (with ePSXe)

I've used ePSXe a few times and I've had to get a bios for it every time. Not sure where everyone's getting it from though.

cool rom has ps1 roms takes about an hour or more to download. for games you have you run cd rom for games you download run iso

play around with video settings for different games. Should run dang near perfect with the right settings.

Try ePSXe emulator that honmaru has pre-packaged, all you have to do is disable the netplay plugin and enable the sound plugin and it should work fine for most games.
