I have questions for Kong about the other (Coin-Op) Arcade games

elrod21

What do you mean by other (Coin-Op) Arcade Games? Do you mean other than Centipede type games or something else?

Do you know if they had made any other kind of "Coin-Op" Arcade Missile Command outside of Retro Uprising?

I will ask "Kong" about how's it going so far on agreeing with the deal (from a while back)

What other Coin-Op Arcade games looks very much like Tempest?

Contrary to popular belief, Retro Uprising did not actually make Missile Command.

Gyruss is kind of like Tempest. Not sure about Missile Command coin-op play alikes. Never was much into that game.

Cube Quest was a very obscure laserdisc game back 83/84 that used a trackball that had a lot of game play similar to Tempest.

The was Tempest Tubes, it was a hack that was eventually adopted by Atari.

What other Coin-Op games are similar to Q-bert?

elrod21
01-21-2013, 10:16 AM
Well there's Faster More Challenging Q-bert, and Q-bert's Cubes for starters. Jack Rabbit reminds me of Q-bert in many ways, but honestly I think most of the Q-bert clones you will find were made for home consoles.

I found couple of (Coin-op) Arcade games to do something like math problems on.
If you like to see some other math problems, or to make up some (for you to see or do), I may have to do some in picture, and I can do it here.
I had posted some questions about doing some interesting math problems to one of other Answer Websites.
Is there anyone here that who will like to try answer any one of the math problems that I had made from an interesting math? I made them out.

---------- Post added 01-23-2013 at 11:02 AM ---------- Previous post was 01-22-2013 at 02:34 PM ----------

I don't know if (Kong) would like me to try the other video games on different system, but I probably like the Coin-Op (Arcade) games the best, maybe even that some are too plain or a little boring/interesting.

---------- Post added at 09:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:02 AM ----------

Any other web pages that I can play other Centipede-like and Missile Command-like video games online that's outside of Retro Uprising - if there isn't any other new ones on Retro Uprising?

Should I check with Kong that if I can create another (new) thread "NOW" if I'm not getting any other Reply/Replies from this thread?:sleepy::waiting:

Hi danielpbone,

Please do NOT create new threads. If people want to reply to your questions or respond to you, they will. If you create new threads and ask the same questions you will annoy people and there is less chance they'll reply.

Sometimes people don't know the answers to your questions, or just don't want to answer. Not every post will get a reply, and that includes your posts, my posts, and everyone else's posts. Also, people are busy and might be doing other things (like playing video games!) or might just like to read the messages on the forums and not reply.

You posted some interesting pictures a while ago, I would suggest that if you have made more pictures, or have some interesting maths puzzles to share, then post them here. You might not get any, or many, replies, but there will be people who will have a look at them.

Feel free to play whatever games you like on Retro-Uprising. You don't need to ask - go for it! I also like the Coin-Op games, maybe because they are often simple. There's also LOTS of them :D

Did you find Jack Rabbit (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/game/5606/) » Coin Op (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/coin-op/) ?

Cheers! RevJ

I had played Jack Rabbit, but not really a fun game to play, & I'm sure there's many or maybe a lot of other Coin-op games that are much for fun to play with than just Jack Rabbit.

Rev, Coin-op games are also really fun as just these gets much harder as you/I keep playing for a while - towards to like "Game Over", and see how these saves a lot of quarters as I play these games here. And in Coin-op Arcade games, I see that these games gives me continues (every games on some of them), & do you think we like it better with continues?

(Do you know if it will be in days/week/etc.?)

Hi Daniel,

Kong is very busy. The best thing for you to do is to post any questions here. The other mods understand your agreement with Kong.

Regarding continues, I think it is good for your gaming skills to try to play without continues. But some games are so hard! So it's good to be able to play some games through to the end using continues (but you can't submit scores this way). That's what I think.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
01-29-2013, 06:41 PM
To submit score from playing these games, do I play it in score mode?
I'll see how much time I have to play them.
Do you know how long may the other (Coin-Op Arcade) would take to finish playing, (or until all my guys/cities, etc. are gone)?

You will need to read the rules for score submissions - see Retro Uprising - FAQ (http://www.retrouprising.com/faq.php) . This explains the process.

The time it takes to play a game depends on which game you play as well as your skill, and can vary a lot.

Hi danielpbone

Re the maths puzzles, I figured a couple out.... thanks

Q1 & Q2: Not sure about the 'N' function, but I can see the larger numbers are palindromes...
Q3: 5 square root 5 x 5 square root 5 = 25 x 5
Q4: 12345 x 12345 = ...

Re the most recently added games, I'm not sure but I don't think anything has been added since 2011. See this thread - http://www.retrouprising.com/private-forums/game-mods/2012-member-award-results/t14503/ - particularly where it says:

356 games added.
Click Retro Uprising - Arcade (http://retrouprising.com/arcade.php)
Sort by "Added" "Descending"
First 11 and a half pages were added in 2011. That will change as more games are added.
That is For the Frog the Bell Tolls (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/game/11817/) » Game Boy (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/game-boy/) through Super Mario Bros: Super Mario Unlimited (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/game/11457/) » Nintendo (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/nintendo/)

Solve this classic math puzzle (I have many of these if you want to try more):

Players A and B each have a well shuffled standard pack of cards, with no jokers. The players deal their cards one at a time, from the top of the deck, checking for an exact match. Player A wins if, once the packs are fully dealt, no matches are found. Player B wins if at least one match occurs. What is the probability that player A wins?

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-06-2013, 09:15 PM
FudgyDRS, later.

"Palindromes" - Correct, that's the symbol as a shape of an "N", it copies & reverse the whole entire number & places into another set of digits, am I explaining this okay?
A digit "0" that you see have dots on both sides of it along with palindromes means the 0 stays there even that it does the palindromes function.
No square root to the shape of square - 5 square 10 is 10 5's, incase if you still don't understand, it will just be this number - (5555555555)
Now I will give you some of these (new) math problems on the next Reply, I don't know if it's going to be too hard or not when I give these to you to guess the answers on.

---------- Post added at 03:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:17 PM ----------

How many of these math problems can I give you? - I won't give you too many if you do not want too many of these math problems, and any certain level of these math problems that I can give you?

---------- Post added at 03:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 PM ----------

I didn't find where there's 356 games added, can you tell me how many more coin-op games been added before the year 2011, and what are the coin-op games in list that just got added?

---------- Post added at 09:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:27 PM ----------

No, 2 triangle 4 is 2468642
See if you get the function on this.

---------- Post added at 09:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:53 PM ----------

I don't know if maybe I should give you another shape (Palindromes), other than the one that's the shape of "N".
When I give you this math, maybe I should make out the number charts for you, but there might be more other shapes out there to put with numbers, that it may not all be in the chart.

---------- Post added at 10:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:57 PM ----------

FudgyDRS, I don't know if I very much understand the puzzle thoroughly, and what I might just put in mostly after much thinking, maybe the probability of 1/26 for Player A, but I don't know if that's the answer you meant for me to put in.

FudgyDRS
02-06-2013, 09:51 PM
The answer is:

The probability player A wins is d(52) / 52! or 1 / 53!

If you actually calculated this you would find that the probability, as the number of cards increases, approaches 1/e.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-07-2013, 06:51 PM
FudgyDRS, I'm not sure if I will want to do another math game from you.
Now try these 8 math problems, I would not put in that math problem if it's too hard to do, make the numbered answers short as you can by putting in solid shapes & number signs around some or every numbers. I will show you the answers that how it's done if you didn't get it exactly as how I will put it, but might be more than one way to put in the correct answer number(s) "So these numbers may not be all set to function in the calculator yet, for now, I'll do the calculation - from picture". You can think of more number signs and shapes if you like, but some might be more creative than you think as you can make these short too. We can try to figure if we can keep the triangle with the numbers on both sides even that we change one of the digit if it's the whole number of this, then I think you may just have to add in one other sign or maybe shape to the number.

Then I think you may use a calculator on this if the problem(s) are too hard or takes too long (for you), but might take multiple or many steps on doing the calculation on a calculator.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-07-2013, 06:55 PM
Now here's the 8 new/inter. math problems to do:

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-07-2013, 06:56 PM
Now see what (other interesting) answers in numbers you'll come up with by try making each ones short, but maybe can't make all of them short!

FudgyDRS
02-07-2013, 10:18 PM
I assume:
- square is exp
- triangle with long side down is exp
- triangle with long side up is sequence of numbers from first number to last
- +, -, X, and / are all real operators

1. -3202
2. 60466301.74
3. -53.38
4. not sure if 1 (long side up traingle) 10 is 1234567891 or 12345678910
5. 33318
6. 931322.57
7. 12345
8. 12429.9

I can't figure out the second function/operator in the example.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-08-2013, 01:13 PM
No, square is repeating to each digit. I don't figure very clear of "long side up or down" is as 1 and that cut triangle & 5 is either 12345 or 54321.
None of them are correct that what answers I put down/in for these math problems. I think you need a (large) number chart for these.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-08-2013, 01:19 PM
Put some number piece to the numbers if you can as shorten the number answers. None of these are correct from what answers I put for these. Square is repeat to each digit. I don't completely understand for "triangle with long side up or down", but these cut triangle as 1, put that triangle, then 5 as either 12345 or 54321. And you'll see what these other number pieces are from the picture I will post to quick Reply. You may need a large number chart for these.

---------- Post added at 02:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:30 PM ----------

Hope you know what I did from those previous math problems I posted. Now I will give you more of these math problems, but you can put more together using different number pieces, will that be okay?

---------- Post added at 04:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:35 PM ----------

I put/function the number (piece) like in a neat order, a number with triangle & number, it like count up then down throughout the digits, but always advance to every one of decimal places.

---------- Post added at 06:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:38 PM ----------

I don't know if you put number piece with the numbers, you may have to do it in picture, so I think you might have to post an image with that, unless you have large list of special characters you can find that might be substitute or replacement of some that's (little) different.

FudgyDRS
02-08-2013, 06:19 PM
So by this are you saying that box changes meaning from the first puzzle to the second?
If not, then please explain how (5 (box) 5)^2 is equal to 25 (triangle) 5 or at least how to expand 25 (triangle) 5, because all explinations sofar are from a smaller number to a larger number. As of right now (5 (box) 5)^2 is 3086358025.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-08-2013, 07:01 PM
No it didn't change, (box) just repeat that digit to every single decimal place (except the one that's already put in) to the certain number as what number shown behind it; or like how many 2's there are in a whole number. As 2 box 6 as 6 2's, then that's 222222.
That steep triangle number from the 2 box number may take a lot of changes if you want to look over the whole thing to see how that whole thing is calculated, but not really any need to look over these calculation, I just kept the same formula in a (neat) organize way, maybe in a simple way when I made the transition comparing from like very small to the very large as I keep the (same) likeness. I will show you the picture of that triangle number calculation here if that will really help, and that whole calculation did come to the same exact answer that you figured for that 2 box numbers that you just calculated from my new math that I put out.

Now I will give you more of these math problems & the whole number chart with that.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-08-2013, 07:04 PM
From that image, it's like stacking up (around) with many of these same numbers and then do the addition around these really large numbers.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-08-2013, 09:07 PM
Here's another image that will better explain how the 25 triangle 5 = 3086358025, the same with how (5 (box) 5)^2 is equal to 3086358025 or 25 triangle 5, from those 2 boxes it multiplies both 5's together to 25 & put the 25 infront of the triangle, and leave the 5 that's in back of it the same, that's how it works, and from these other 2 boxes where I put 1 square 4, just multiply both 1's and that's how I got just 1 infront of this other triangle (1 triangle 4).
As if 1111 X 1111 = 1234321, just as 1 square 4 times 1 square 4 = 1 triangle 4
- And see how I left the 4 that's in back of this square the same as for the triangle?

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-09-2013, 07:38 AM
Here are the actual answered (new) math problems.
To #1, I don't think I can farther reduce any of these rest 5 digits, or same with #2.
To #3, I couuldn't quickly think of a function except just changing some of the number which might be a good (useful) number function.
To #4, I didn't take the number 90 out to dump into that half triangle in the answered number or there could be much more I have to do with these numbers that's not really easy to maneuver, as a replacement to which decimal place?
To #5, I don't think I can shorten these with any number piece, or don't worth the time or effort or how short perhaps it only can be reduced to.
To #6, that's all you/I need to do on that (just number)
And in #7, this problem with answer looks a little more interesting that how it's answered.

For 25 triangle 5 to a math problem, you may not want to function that number into the calculator as that number seems kind of complicated, but I don't at this moment know which smaller number to do more function with that would be the same as that number, & don't know if there really is, or I don't know if you/I may have the calculator to to use other different number display of the same amount even that it will be (a little) longer.

On the Coin-Op game called "Undercover Cops", after I saved a game on this, it's not loading okay, to play where I left off. And I don't think I want to keep playing non-stop all the way to the end, is there anything that you can do to fix this?

FudgyDRS
02-16-2013, 10:49 PM
If your playing in score mode there's nothing you can do to load but you can load saves from score mode in full mode. The default controls are F6 to create a save state and F7 to load a save state, but if you delete you browser cache you delete these saves.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-17-2013, 11:28 AM
I tried it in Full Mode pressing F6 and F7, and it's still not doing okay.

Did you look at my whole (new) math answers to show you how these whole numbers to be calculated and reconvert numbers as reach the answers that I put out on permalink #26 and 27 - with shaped numbers?

---------- Post added at 12:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 AM ----------

I'm sure I can't load game from Score Mode, but what happens after I saved that game, & when I tried to load it, it goes to the game image that where I left off in that Arcade game window, and that game image freezed & won't move, & that game window looks kind of dark when it won't move, and that game sound kind of like humming & won't play through other tunes/tones or like that.

You could try downloading MAME (http://mamedev.org/) or Supermodel v0.2a (http://www.supermodel3.com/). Retro Uprising uses MAME for most Arcade/Coin-op games but Supermodel emulates just as well most of the time and can emulate many 3D model games as well.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-17-2013, 07:03 PM
I just tried it, and I didn't yet got any of the MAME or SuperModel v0.2a to work for me, from MAME, I don't know which one to click into; from these other game sites, would you mind tell me where to go & where to click on next ?

FudgyDRS
02-17-2013, 11:37 PM
I don't know the specs of your computer but your probably on a windows computer with XP SP2 or newer so just install one of the 2011 or 2012 .exe versions of MAME and during installation keep track of which directory it's being installed under.

For Supermodel the setup is not self extracting but is setup already, see the attachment for my configuration settings, the controls are less intuitive so see the sites documentation for controls.

I don't know exactly where to get ROMs as I haven't gone searching for them in a while but I imagine you'll have the best of luck starting your search on Google or some other major search engine.

What other Arcade games do they have at any Arcade place that what Arcade games the Retro Uprising don't have? I don't know if you can list (just about) all of them.

Just the Coin-Op Arcade Games

---------- Post added at 07:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:54 PM ----------

I told them about this game problem here, and I don't know if they said they probably had already fixed that, but when I just played that, it was not fixed.
Had any of you played the Coin-Op Arcade Game "Bullet" here?
The Coin-Op Arcade Game Bullet is not working okay, is there a way that you could report this game problem: The game screen went black, and for them to try to fix that?

FudgyDRS
02-24-2013, 09:17 PM
3D model games like Soul Blade/ Soul Calibur, Tekken, Time Crisis, Dakota 5000, and newer others, which MAME cannot support. In otherwords look at the MAME website a it should what other games the emulator cannot support.

http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/game/7838/
Where exactly did it go black, I was playing it in score mode and it worked fine?

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-25-2013, 09:13 PM
On (Full Mode) Coin-Op Bullet, it went black at a little ways from the start of level 2, that's the train track level - only about few/several minutes of game play until the screen went black.

FudgyDRS
02-25-2013, 10:16 PM
I see what you mean, it happens on the second stage right after the tracks change direction to the right, I assume it's because something differt happens/ appears there and the game is missing the compressed hard disk(s) for that. I wouldn't sweat it though there are problems like this for many of the games here, like a bad case would be for Radien on Atari Jaguar, you continue controlling the vehicle after stage one and it will never start loading stage two. On the bright side there are still many more games like Bullet for arcade machines avalible.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
02-26-2013, 08:52 PM
I see there's about 20 Coin-Op Arcade games just in Retro Uprising that uses 2 joysticks, but just the Bullet game that's having problems working. I guess you/I can play it in this mode instead as this game don't really give any continue(s). And do you know how far you can get on that Coin-Op Arcade Bullet game played only in Score Mode (anyway) until all your guys are gone or until a problem occurs on that Bullet game?

danielpbone@yahoo.com
03-17-2013, 09:59 AM
How do I use the mouse control on Coin-op 'Puzz Loop' - what will it control or move in that 'Puzz Loop', or is there a way to use the mouse control on that maybe to turn the guy or something? I had set to mouse support and only the mouse button works to shoot out a color ball, but not the movement of mouse around the pad will work.

Is there a controller input for Super Nintendo here to do any automatic or rapid shooting or rapid jumping? I tried the rapid jumping from the Nintendo here.

FudgyDRS
04-13-2013, 06:18 AM
For rapid-fire, I would consider using a controller emulator with a turbo function, for example, motionjoy provides turbo duration and speed of inputs for turbo-fire. A simpler solution would be to remap the controller your using, either with the emulator for SNES or on the actual controller, so that more than one button is mapped to a single input.

It's some problem with the version of MAME that RU is using, I've tried it using a more recent build of MAME and it works fine. If there are still problems while running the game using your own copy of the emulator, I would suggest going to the MAME forum.

And on Atari 2600 of Demons to Diamonds, is the space bar used as orange shooting button? If it is, then I tried the space bar, and it won't shoot with that.
I don't know if I asked this too, when I played the Arcade's Greatest Hits - Atari Collection 1, and after a few min. it stops working, then I just save this game often so I don't lose how far I got on this game "Arcade". Check input controls for the emulator in use (done at default settings by pressing 'TAB'), the system input defaults for Stella using an Atari 2600 game are the following:
'F1' for select
'F2' for reset
"up, down, left, right" for directional inputs
'SPACE' for fire

05-30-2013, 08:36 PM
I debugged Arcade's Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 1 - Super Nintendo (http://www.retrouprising.com/game-menu/game/208/) and its a memory exception called when you get a game over, its not really the fault of the ROM but the process by which the emulator Snes9X v1.51 reads it, because this error lies within the emulator itself, and how your operating system and/or browser is built/set, I doubt there to be any resolution any time soon.

Alternatively you can alway play using the score enabled emulator MESS, and although the save state is disabled for the sake of scores you can always continue or start over without risk of having the emulator crash (or use the JVM-based emulator).

Try this. I have not tested but it may work.
Scroll down to bottom left of page.
Change the style box from Default to Beta.
Then load the game. Select ArcadeOX Score Mode Beta.
Then use F6 and F7 to save and load.

Should allow you to play the game in the score mode emulator with saves.

No, saves are still disabled, and this error seems not to be just at game over but when some of the enemies spawn as well (Centipede); the error is called because the program is corrupting the heap somewhere by not deleting the call stack before writing over it (disassembly), but this is unclear to where exactly the violation occured.

A math riddle.

Make a mathematical formula for each whole number from 0 to 100.
You can use any mathematical symbol, such as + - / * and decimals, parenthesis, factorial, percent. and any other symbol you can think of.
But the only number you can use is 4.

Example
0 = 4-4
1 = 4/4
2 = 4/4 + 4/4
and so on all the way to 100.

For extra challenge you can either try to make them all have exactly four 4s or you can try to make them all be as short as possible.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
06-02-2013, 06:12 PM
Kong,
Will it be okay if I make-up a sign in place of another character/symbol "as this symbol '#'", and I will make that sign that will be in lower rank than + or *, as 4 # 4 = 5, 4 # 12 = 7 ?
But I will just put them in and finish-up that "math riddle"

This is a classic question, not necessarily simple but very important in optimization:

Given a list of cities and the distances between each pair of cities, what is the shortest possible route that visits each city exactly once and returns to the origin city?

danielpbone@yahoo.com
06-02-2013, 07:43 PM
Answer to FudgyDRS's classic question:
I don't know 'exactly' how this should be answered, I don't know if this will be enough detail:
As there are 2 rows of cities, start with first row and go across visiting every cities in the first row, when get to the end, go over to the second row and do the same. Go almost like in a loop but flat if my city is about in the middle - I don't know what you'll think of this for your classic question. If that's not the answer you like for this, then may have to give me more explanation on this.

Now I'm about to finish up the other problems that I got from Kong!

---------- Post added at 06:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:40 PM ----------

Kong,
May you look just this one over and see if that's how you want it to be done showing you just the first 16 steps, then I will do the rest:

@ comes before / & -, as 4 @ 4 = 3, 4 @ 12 = 1
% find the middle number, as 0 % 10 = 5
# comes before * & +, as 4 # 4 = 5, 4 # 16 = 8
0 = 4 - 4
1 = 4 / 4
2 = 4 / 4 + 4 / 4
3 = 4 @ 4
4 = 4 % 4
5 = 4 # 4
6 = 4 # 4 # 4
7 =
8 = 4 + 4
9 =
10 =
11 =
12 =
13 =
14 =
15 =
16 = 4 * 4

The answer is an approximation to a solution rather than an answer in itself, which is precisely why this problem is still significant today.

Kong, you question can be solved using any series of exponentials, so I suggest limiting the types of operations that can be use for such problems as that.

To FudgyDRS
& to Kong,
I see that you gave me some puzzles/story problems here because I'm was talking about work problems or maybe some puzzles here!
I don't mind answering/doing the puzzles from you or that you gave me (I may try to enjoy doing 'most of them'), whenever you say it's a good puzzle to do, then I may think it is too.

I'll just give you the work problems (more basic/regular) that's many problems on one page - that we understand to do, I'll give you points/credits for each ones or what credit for percentage right, and I'll list what things I may do for you from many credits that you'll earn.
And may have you to redo which problems you got wrong until they're right, if you have a lot of time.
- You type in the answers, then I'll correct them.
The problems that can't be typed will be in graphic, and you may need a drawing program & typing feature within that to type in the answer to a graphic format sheet/page, then I'll copy it to mine mark-in them correct/wrong, then that's just like how they actually do them & correct them on an actual sheet of paper.
Now I'll pass this one to you or 2 of them on the next Reply -

---------- Post added at 08:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:06 PM ----------

To Math riddle,
"limit the types of operation" Does it mean to use only the signs that it have on the calculator or only the signs that he mentioned?
I think of the object of this is to make it about as short as possible & use only 4's, I don't know if it may not be that hard - short as possible and all 4's.
- Probably don't want to keep adding in more 4's (and more signs) - I guess that won't be good if just do that.

FudgyDRS

I suppose try to limit to operations that a basic scientific calculator can do, like don't do (e - i^i)mod(4) gives about 2 (I think, haven't calculated this in a while) but you can manipulate functions like e to aproximate any value and just take the ceiling.

For arcadeox, just reset the game every once in a while and it should restore the game to normal, then load a save.

Kong

You can use only the number 4 and symbols from here
List of mathematical symbols - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can concatenate the 4s so you can have 4 or 44 or .444 etc.

But you can't define your own symbols like you did.

3 = (4 * 4 - 4) / 4

FudgyDRS
06-03-2013, 01:33 PM

I didn't think this topic could get more confusing but you guys sure showed me. Well done.

FudgyDRS
06-03-2013, 04:44 PM
Also since i is included in this we can also manipulate it to include other additional symbols, thus overall increasing the total number of operands avalible. Example:

i = (-1)^(0.5)
e^(-pi*i) = -1
i = (e^(-pi*i/2))
e == i^(-2/(pi*i))
e^(-theta*i) == cos(theta) - i*sin(theta)
we can also extend this to the hyperbolic equivalents and get some other constants like columbs constant (~9) and a bunch of others, which all can be treated as simple scalars so they should be valid.
also, since now we have derived the expontial the logrithmic form should follow
so; e^(-pi*i) = -1 => logbase(e)(-1) = -pi*i
now since we have defined e, why not expand it to a series and manipulate that:
e = lim(n->infinity)(1+n^(-1))^n
...I could continue but it'll start to get redundant as we start to deive the combinatorical representations which are an operation already avalible

Also I choose to use the equivelant symbols of roots as exponents and comparison operators as ==, >=, >>>, ~=, etc... as I can really use mathematical notations without actually uploading an image.

danielpbone@yahoo.com

Here's the math problem (for either of you who'll put name on this sheet), points for right answers can go either how many you get right, harder ones gives you more points, but there's no certain points that I can set to this, or to the more you get right the much bigger points you'll get as: Get nothing from 0 to 5 right; but 6 right you'll get 1 point, 7 right you'll get 3 pts, 8 right you'll get 7 pts. 9 right you'll get 20 pts, and all 10 right you'll get 100 pts. I'll do one of point system, then can try the other point system too (later). I'll make up the points, rules, and earnings (pay points to) too - list of earnings will come later.

I'll work on rest of your puzzle later.
I may give you the sheet of other work subjects whenever this one might be difficult to do for now.
I'll give you a list of subject that may contain a 100 subjects in a list, then some of these subjects might be very interesting, and there might be many hard ones too.

And word problems is coming up soon, but these 2 are sort of like basics according to what other subjects I will give you to do.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
06-03-2013, 09:19 PM
Then I'll record or keep track of the sheets I put out & that you did/how many you got right/wrong.

Kong
06-03-2013, 09:43 PM
So I can actually do this
((4! over ||pi||)) = 5
4! = 24
||pi|| = 3 (clever idea but I think you did 4! wrong first.
24 / 3 = 8

i = (-1)^(0.5)
e^(-pi*i) = -1
i = (e^(-pi*i/2))
e == i^(-2/(pi*i))
You can't do any of that.

5 = (4 * 4 + 4) / 4
6 = 4! / 4

---------- Post added at 10:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 PM ----------

5 = ⌈.4/4⌉ + 4

FudgyDRS
06-03-2013, 11:08 PM
((4! over ||pi||)) is actually the combinatorcal rerspentation of
((4! + (||pi||) - 1)!)/((4!-1)!)/((||pi||)!)
or (24 + 3 -1)! / (24 - 1)! / 3! = 2600
I just forgot to divide the whole thing by (4!*4!) and take the ceiling
so ceil(2600/576) = 5
or I could have wrote (for the sake of minimizing the number of 4's used)
((4! over pi)) / (4!)^2

and why can't you use mathmatical definitions, i is defined as a symbol and by definition:

i = (-1)^(0.5)
-1 = e^(-pi*i)

Also, if you don't want to use i just consider
-4/4 = -1
-1 = cos(pi)
cos(pi) = sin(pi/2 - pi)
sqrt(-1) = -1^(0.5) = i

And I do understand this is a much more convoluted way of getting the answer but its much more fun.

I'd like to see what you consider "sophisticated math" &" Texas Instrument math".
But really, ask any question(s) you feel are appropiate.
Also, I am interested in knowing where you got, or are getting, these questions/subjects from.

Sophisticated math, I made this one up when I gave it to a student from the other school, is the math with shapes next to each/some numbers, I think I gave you this math from the very first, I may show you some examples.
And the Texas Instrument math came from the (really expensive) Texas Instrument Calculator that I may see at Target/Office Max?, etc.

Hint cost 15 pts to each problem(s).

FudgyDRS and Kong can pick subjects and do the problems from each subjects, & I will mark score for both, or FudgyDRS can do the problems and Kong may correct your sheet of different subjects I brought out and scoring (Maybe I have to tell what scoring to do) "so that the correcting and scoring can get done sooner after you do them"

---------- Post added at 11:10 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:05 AM ----------

FudgyDRS
You can pick what subjects you want to do listed up there, then I'll set that subject sheet up for you to do here. If you didn't get all of them right, you can keep guessing that until it's all right, but you might loose many points before you get big points (100 points) when you get'em all right.
Set lower/higher after wrong on every problems - cost 250 pts.

---------- Post added at 04:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:10 AM ----------

Give you notice that I'll make these subjects & paste these here soon - for you to do.
"Now I will choose from subject list and make some/couple/several work subjects for you to do within a day or two, and maybe more in same following days within about the same amount"

And keep up adding points to your score much more than losing them as you work these given problems, and luck to see if you'll end up with a lot of points when it's (all) finished!

Try "63. Deep Space".

danielpbone@yahoo.com
06-09-2013, 04:48 PM
"Just one day sooner than I will just post, great"
I will cross off Deep Space when I give it to you.
You can choose more subjects if you like, maybe like 3 or 5 "as I may try to fit 5 in just one load attachment" of them at once, but it takes much points out of your score, or I may choose subjects for you & give you back points for that, then you can call-out number of subjects 'that I will pick', then I'll find/pick that many subject for you to do.

Mistake I made to each problem - Take 10 pts. - Then I re-edit/correct that problem
Mistake I made to a whole subject/sheet/page - Take 40 pts. - Then I re-edit/correct that whole page.
Change work problems within the subject - Cost 20 pts.
Change to easier work problems within the subject - Cost 40 pts.
Find a video game for you that looks interesting - Cost 5 pts.; in what game system 8 pts.
Post a question I think will be interesting - Cost 5 pts.
Find internet site for you of my idea - Cost 12 pts.
Find a picture for you from Google Image of my idea - Cost 15 pts.
Draw you a picture of my idea - Cost 200 pts., re-edit/change in drawing - Cost 55 pts.

Now here's the "Deep Space" Worksheet. Let me know how interesting do you think this subject of worksheet is when you do this one.

danielpbone@yahoo.com
06-14-2013, 07:24 AM
It may look like I will be giving you more worksheets to do more than asking you questions here!

And this too for points from doing the problems:
When I choose subject(s) for you to do, you may have to do which subject(s) that I tell you to do first, or as long as you got all the previous ones completed, and keep the subjects you pick - separate.

---------- Post added at 07:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:10 PM ----------

Fudgy, now you got 105 points - for the work subjects.
And if I ask you a question & if you put just about any answer, you get 5 points; or if you find a good answer, you get 20 points.

FudgyDRS, From the 'Deep Space' Worksheet - 7 out of 10!, I don't know what U1.27 is - it said to just type in the two words/type just the 2 words - shown in perenthesis (I did the same for the other ones 'but different clues'), but I put in a clue to put in 2 words if didn't notice, I checked Google Image and Gliese 581 d don't really match the planet in that picture, but from the answer sheet I typed it does; and for #10: I have typed in the clue "in perenthesis - 2 words, an article and a noun"; "I added up all your +'s & -'s of your score' and now you got 624 points. The ones that you got wrong, *but you got the exact answer from only one problem that requires the exact answer to give you the 500 points, but the clue might say to only/just use numbers, weill & then some letters "that I typed in", so you did that! And do you want to do the 3 problems over again? You'll still get the 100 points if you try to get the other 3 correct - On the next Reply?
You mean give you another worksheet that you like, I will give you some interesting ones, but not all that are interesting 'but maybe like educational'?
I will give you 5 or maybe up to 10 other worksheets all at one post for you to do okay? And hope you don't mind I will give you this many, and hope you won't say that's too much or too busy to do these many - when I paste all these to you to do here!

U1.27, at a distance of 4 billion light years across, is the largest quastar cluster known so far
Gliese 581 d is a rocky planet with water that orbits a red star. But the question is actually bad, because there are in fact billions of rocky habitable planets that orbit M dwarfs.
For your tenth question the hints are not the problem, the image is not clear, there are too many objects the could be described with a single article and a noun.

I think I found the exact picture you used, http://8bitfuture.com/post/5585270493/gliese-581d-confirmed-as-being-habitable-french

FudgyDRS, and so then you did found the picture that did match the other name/"answer", then I guess I will mark you to 8 correct, but I didn't take off that 15 pts. for selecting a subject, & I just did, so your score is 616 pts. "but did really good with getting the exact answer when there is a work problem with that!"

- To give you some time to think about if you'll really willing/want all these 'up to 10' worksheets to do 'soon', or if you change your mind before to reply that you don't want all these worksheets sent to you soon, then tomorrow by noon or evening I'll send you 5 or up to 10 of these worksheets okay? Only way to change the game's "speed" is through frame skipping or acceleration (default: "End"). I suggest downloading an emulator. Most PC emulators have an option to customized the game speed.

Are you trying to submit a recorded score or just play the game? If you just want to play in your browser there arn't very many emulators that are embeded. Also, if those are the only games, or type of games, you want to play there are lots of decent flash versions of each.

If you are using one of the non-arcadeOX emulators there is usually an option to load a save state from your computer, assuming everything is in the correct format(s). As for saving/transfering data directly from the console itself, you need special hardware to read and/or interpret data.

danielpbone@yahoo.com

I'll create another sequal of Frenzy Arcade game, there's more different ways/looks that I'll create that arcade game, don't really know rather to put blocks or other shapes to that Arcade game similar to Berzerk or Frenzy.
From the game pictures shown with that, which one do you think will look better: Draw the walls with other different shapes just as the curve (line) I drew in that one on the left?
These image here is what I just start up with from real Frenzy Arcade image to help make-out what really new version of the Frenzy Arcade that I would going to be drawing with that.
Make it any thickness of wall lines that each are placed just anywhere (shown next to the left image)?
There's other different grids I had started off to create that game image by one of grid (All the rest of 4 images on the right), & I think the grid from the bottom-right image might be the best to work with. Or create multiple grids to put the/each wall lines in some particular thickness & to keep these wall lines in certain number of places - only to choose from these place of where to place these different walls - to level off from set minimum unit walls, & as like 4 different grids for 4 different thickness of lines (Small/thin walls may evenly/neatly connect to other large/thick walls)?
Take your time thinking on that & see what you'll decide on this if you think (one of/some of these) looks much better than the other that I just drew here; unless you'll really like me to just pick & just draw it!

To make it simulate going to Arcade place and spend money to play Arcade (for real), or just other kinds of (made-up non-importance) feature that's completely optional rather they/I like to put them/those in or not to put them/those in, but to make sure that will be enough time before I ask to input that timer. - (Well only if they can program that in, or I will just play it as it is, but I see that this have pretty much other good features to use in these games that's now)

There are features that enable a limit on the number of coins someone could insert for a specfic game but charging money, I think, would hurt Retro Uprising as a community. Wouldn't if you just want to limit your own playtime just mentally set a number of plays until you feel you should stop.

I don't meant paying money to play these games here (I see that's answered),
(but to certain number of plays) - from last part of your message, I may do just that - as I may just use a piece of paper or other typing program and write/type in a number, and every time the game is over then I'll mark down the number (as I had typed 50, "See that the game is over" then I'll change it to 49 for example "Or whatever the number of credits it takes to play each game"); and I may just use the online count down stopwatch and just wait for the ring (sound) for me to stop playing those games(for the rest of the day), probably I can save the time left or by not closing that site - If you know what I meant or what I'll be using (as timer).
How's this idea?

I would like one of my other question to be answered:
I tried playing and pause the Robotron game, and I find that on about wave 55 Brain Wave, there was about 24 human families, and perhaps the next wave after that, about 9 human families. And may you answer from the rest of the waves that I had posted about that Robotron game?

---------- Post added at 10:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:43 PM ----------

And the other question I had posted about Imago, I tried saving the game & play the games I had saved, the picture was breaking apart at first, & after I load that same game position again, then the picture look good & ready to play - so that question is done with.

My other 4 last question that I see haven't got answered yet, are they looking for an answer to those questions that I posted, or are most of those questions are really hard to find the right answer to those?

On Retro Uprising, from those 100 vertical scroll shooting Arcade games, almost all of these games is just (ship) keep zooming up (until it reach a boss), and should they make another scroll shooting Arcade games where it get to the point to select a direction of which way to go next, as rather if I want to keep going up, or scroll/zoom to left side or to right side, then that type of game may imitate vertical and horizontal scroll Arcade game too, and even a scroll shooting Arcade game to select a moving direction of diagonal scroll too? "I don't know if they will have all of those Arcade games (here) too"!
And see if there's any Arcade game here for a ship to scroll in any direction too

And see if there's an Arcade game that uses both a trackball and a joystick too okay?

Try Bubble Tanks, it's not really a vertical or horizontal shooter, more like an asteroids shooter:
Bubble Tanks 3 | Shooting Games | Play Free Games Online at Armor Games (http://armorgames.com/play/10015/bubble-tanks-3)

Most arcade games that use both a trackball and a joy stick are party games but some of the others that come to mind are Ramparts and Liberator. Also here is a list of some trackball games I found online:
List of trackball arcade games - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I also suppose you could find a bunch of CD games that are modeled for trackball mice which act as both a trackball and controller. Although it isn't very relevent, many people who play Starcraft and League of Legends still use trackball mice as their prefered controller.

Adressing your other question(s):
There really isn't a "quick" reply to directly respond to another use other than just directly adressing a user like how you did in your last post towards me or sending a PM.

This is a list of the first 40 waves of Robotron:
Robotron enemies by wave (http://www.seanriddle.com/robowaves.html)
After the first 40 waves the waves continue by repeating waves 21-40.

As far as the timer idea goes, I say go for it so long as it's convient for yourself to do so.

The bubble game you got for me, it may be like using both joystick and trackball, but both of these controllers switched around, and I see that Wacko uses both of these - trackball for moving, and joystick for shooting - but have to match each monster/enemy. See if you can find another game that uses both trackball (move) and joystick (shoot) , and to just shoot up the enemies (don't have to match anything).
Can you direct me to another site to play Liberator - that don't stop at wave 20, but that it have all the waves & as it's really a full version of Liberator?
I see that the Millipede (Arcade) game have like most of the flower stuff and insects, and do you know if you can find another game like millipede from another site, that would have other flowers to shoot besides just mushrooms, as like grass, dandelions, etc., and that it have more insects besides all of what Millipede game have, as: moth, wasp, fly, caterpillar, pill bug, etc.?

Did you read one of P.M. that I sent to you, and did you type any PM to me yet? Incase if I don't know where to look to find your P.M.?

I'll just put this, and I don't know if I will make it that clear for you to read/understand what video game I want, but to tell what else I really want in that game:
For a Millipede game - Millipede Arcade, mushroom + grass or dandelion
Millipede with 3 or more different kinds of flowers/plants - mushrooms and flowers are considered just 2 different kinds of flowers/plants, but DDT bomb is not a flower/plant.

For a Missile Command and other video games, I may have to draw you a picture and a set of rules typed on the side of the game picture to show you exactly what video game that I want you to search for, but honestly I don't know if you can find any game like that from any internet site, but you can/may try to look for it. & maybe with a regular version of that video game for you to compare it with.

There's not really any games from the past that I played that would be close to what other games that I'm talking about or the games that I really want to look for. I just found 2 other video games from other sites but shoots with mouse & moves with keypad. And see if there's one other game that uses a mouse to move & keypads to shoot (just switch these controls around), if you can find one.

I will tell you all these game mouse problems that I have here, & I would like this game mouse problem to be fixed really soon! -
Don't know what had caused this: When I set a video game that uses light gun or trackball, & set it to mouse support, I think I see that the mouse control got switched over to Player 2's Tracking Control instead of Player 1's Tracking Control (in Mechanized Attack - controlling just the red target marker with a mouse) don't know if to the other games that have red target markers too - with that I can't play that many video games with a mouse that which to set it on mouse control. In Mechanized Attack, I looked in 'Input (this Game)', on Player 2 mouse control - I see that it's on 'Mouse 2 X', so probably the mouse I'm using is controlling the 'Mouse 2', & don't know how to change the 'Mouse 1' control into 'Mouse 2' control in the same Player 1 (mouse/key) control so I can play the other Arcade games with my mouse. Or do you have to do something with this mouse control? If there's any key controls that I just changed, then you can tell me which keys to change it back to.
I don't know if I should change any keys in 'User Interface', & don't want to mess up any of other key controls. And on Millipede Arcade game, I see 'Mouse 2" by the Player 2 control, but it's still not working with my mouse control right now, & I guess probably both players in Millipede uses the same mouse/trackball controls. I had moved my guy in Millipede with arrow keys, then I moved my guy with a mouse, then should it be that the mouse is controlling the arrow key controls? And when I compare the controls to Mechanized Attack, then I see that the mouse is not necessarily controls these key controls even that the mouse & these keys controls the same thing.
And I think it's easier & better to control it with mouse than just using keyboard.
Can you or how would I set the the game to set the mouse control back to Player one's Tracking Control? Or the (extra) option to set the mouse to control to control either the 'Player 1' or the 'Player 2' Tracking control? Or is there a way that may computer can use two mouses, so that I have like one mouse to control the Player One's Tracking control & the other mouse to control the Player Two's Tracking control both at the same time(?)

I'm curious Daniel, what country do you live in? How old are you, what do you do for a job etc? Cheers, John / RevJ

And Rev I'll just reply to you here instead of typing you a personal message: I looked in "unread private messages", I found none in that, but I found one from "Incoming friend requests" & one from "Social Group Invitations", but I don't know if that's the ones to click into for my replies.

Country I live in is U.S, I'm now 43 years old, I had done the dish washing job, but now I no longer have that job.

Hi Daniel, it sounds like you might not have any replies at the moment. Maybe check another day. The other 2 items should be safe to click on. An incoming friend request I would say is a nice thing, someone wants to be your friend on Retro Uprising! I'm not sure if that makes a lot of difference to how the site works though. For the Social Group Invitation, I think you can choose to join the group or ignore the invitation. A Social Group lets you have forum discussions which are only visible to members of that group.

We're similar in age, I'm 45 and live in Australia. I have a government job, which means I can't talk about work here much... :-X Currently enjoying playing Bubble Bobble on RU and Card Hunter on Steam. :party: Cheers!

Do you know when they will be bringing in the other Target Shooting games as 'Maximum Force' and 'Golden Gun' to Retro Uprising?

And one other Target Shooting: 'Let's Go Jungle', is very complex & expensive kind of Arcade machine, so I don't know if it will going to put this in yet

I just checked-out the other games & played a couple from GameBoy Advance, & do You know if they may put video game of 'Centipede' to the 'GameBoy Advance' game menu?

I may need help with this one soon please - to play these other games here:
The page with thousands of Arcade games run by Beta that's from the WaveBrowser window is the one you mentioned/gave to me Kong?
I see that I clicked on the Internet Explorer, then the Internet Explorer that was running got taken off-as it told me the Internet Explorer will soon stop working, then it recommend to me to use like Microsoft Edge instead, but the Internet Explorer is the only one that Retro Uprising can just simply operate games on, & I can just click on & play the games(just from Internet Explorer).
Soon as after I update my computer, (don't know if it had upgraded that to Windows 10), then the 'Windows Security Alert' came up & said "the Firewall had blocked the Wave Browser", then I now can't play the (Arcade)games run on Beta now, but the Arcade games from Beta have problems with double joystick Arcade controller, & the save mode.
Can you suggest what other step by step suggestion I should try doing (from the Retro Uprising), to get to the list of Arcade games that I can play now-with the other Arcade control keys & the Arcade games saving features that are fully working too?
And Thank You!

From the 'Windows Security Alert' window, I don't know if I can just click 'Allow access', or the 'Cancel' button, if I may still try playing those Beta Arcade games-don't know what the risk would really be if I will just allow the WaveBrowser to sill just access those Arcade games from it for me to still play them(?)

I'm not sure what "Wave Browser" is. It doesn't have anything to do with us.

Try this:

Click the Windows Start button to open the start menu (it looks like a window).
Type "iexplore" without the quotes.
Press enter.
That should open Internet Explorer.

If that fails then try this:

Install https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla%20Firefox%2C%20P.E.%20Test/Mozilla%20Firefox%2C%20Portable%20Edition%2040.0%2 0Beta%203/FirefoxPortableTest_40.0_Beta_3_English.paf.exe/download
If that browser ever asks you to update, click no, but always update your other browsers.
This is an old version of Firefox, just use it for this site, not for the rest of the internet.

This is another option:

https://cloud.retroup.com/beta/menu/index.html

The instructions for getting games here to work are located at http://www.retrouprising.com/showthread.php?p=302971 But the above options should get you playing.

Now the firewall not blocking the (WaveBrowser), that I was still playing some of Beta games that's from WaveBrowser, that I just played more games from Beta/WaveBrowser - And saw that it have the Input General - player 1 control, just like it have from when I play the Arcade games from Retro Uprising. But the controls & list of games (from Beta) I see is not that organized-then the Arcade games from Beta does not work as good as the Arcade games that I played here-do you think?
Then should I try setting the controls from 'Input General' on Beta Arcade games that's outside of here, or just play the Arcade games on Retro Uprising that to find where to get to these games here that I can play?
But I will work on the game directions that you just gave me to do now.

I clicked your blue link to another browser to replace it with Retro Uprising-typed in an Arcade game & tried oped the game, then still the message I just saw: 'Your browser is not supported . . .', I wait till it finished downloading, then to where the downloading line complete, then I clicked 'open file', then to the small window that appeared name as "Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition (Beta), is this the small window that I get to? & Do I click where it says 'Next' from it?

---------- Post added at 02:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:18 PM ----------

(Another option) That might be the same one that I now have on Beta Games that start from WaveBrowser that I have now. & I will look at your last option:

It seem that I didn't get to any of Internet Explorer for me to stay in it, but don't know if need to find a way to get in to the Internet Explorer which it have the Arcade games with the controls that operates better(?)

---------- Post added at 07:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:33 PM ----------

I typed in 'iexplore' in window search box, then saw the Internet Explore icon that appeared from above to click that, then it closed back out from the Internet Explorer window back to Microsoft Edge.
I may go back in Beta games & try work on those other game controller buttons just from that for now.

Is there a way to re-edit my last messages here?

(Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition (Beta) - saw that probably requested me to reset to a new Retro Uprising password for that window, don't know if I really want to do that one(?)

I would like to get this one to work:
-I used the SNES game play site, then I played the Arcade's Greatest Hits-Atari Collection 1, then I opened the Game Genie site for SNES, then it have the Game Genie Codes for Centipede, Asteroids, Battle Zone, Breakout, but didn't see any code for Missile Command-

Do you can find any other Game Genie codes, maybe in some other Game Genie site, that would work for the Missile Command in the Arcade's Greatest Hits for the SNES system?

---------- Post added at 06:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:57 PM ----------

Any other Arcade game site you can find that would have a thousand Arcade games for me to play on that-where it have double joystick games that works with keyboard, & trackball controlled Arcade which works with the control of the computer mouse?

Kong, I will like this one to get set to do soon:
I had a member from the other site who answered me about the other browser for me to use to play the other (Arcade) games on, then I tell that it's still not working on that other browsers.
That member just asked me what game & what site I was (try) playing that game from.
I will tell you what answer website & what member was typing to me to help me with which search browser, then type to okay me on it, then I will start typing in that here okay?

And I will type this message in that other site to that member there-
This message- "The Arcade games I played from wave browser using Beta-I didn't get any of double joystick Arcade games working with the keyboard, & didn't find any games to work with the computer mouse, then I went in R.U. after opening-up the Internet Explorer, then it closed-out Internet Explorer & opened-up Microsoft Edge, then & tried opening up a game to play from that, & then the games from R.U. wont work when opened R.U. on Microsoft Edge, because R.U. games won't work on Microsoft Edge, & none of these other browsers is gonna work for R.U. games - Firefox, Google Chrome, & WaveBrowser - Internet Explorer is the only one works with R.U.!"
- Tell me if I may type this message to that other site, then I will type this whole message in that other site, or if you have other suggestion of something else to type in, & where to type it in,
& how's this?

The game control setting (options) to the Arcade games from Beta/WaveBrowser looks really confusing if I try set/change the key controls there, I may take a screen shot of a full Arcade controller, then show it to you here, then see how you would set these controllers to work for all the rest of the listed Arcade games (just from Beta).

Kong,
I was using the 'Arcade' site ran by 'beta3', a lot of other games does works, but just by the controlling arrows, but all the double joystick games are not working for me-that's from beta Arcade controls, & the other Arcade games that works by trackball or light gun, don't know if I can set the mouse support on those games just with beta Arcade controllers; I tried the setting of 'Mouse grab toggle', & that didn't work. It is good to play game game that uses trackball, like Millipede, to use the mouse on this game.
Should I take pictures of the list of the game controllers & post it here, & then you can see what controllers are available that I try to set to with the games that I play from Beta3 Arcade?

---------- Post added 11-10-2023 at 08:41 PM ---------- Previous post was 11-07-2023 at 09:20 PM ----------

Could someone else try the double joystick kind of Arcade games from Beta3 installed & play these by the keyboard, & to see what the problems would be to switch keyboard buttons to work for playing the double joystick Arcade games with?

G'day danielpbone! I hope you're doing well mate. I'm curious about this website run by 'beta3' ... is there a URL or website link we can look it up on? I'm not sure if I can help but I'm always happy to explore new video game sites.

I'm wondering if you're still doing any video game art? You posted some pictures a while back of some totally wild screenshot-style video game pics and they were just awesome!

Cheers and best wishes from Australia, John
