All super nintendo games you wanna discuss go here :).
Ever played Super Mario Allstars? TNT would like it. It had 5 in 1 Mario games including: super mario bros.1, 2, and 3, Super mario bros.1:the lost levels, and one other I cannot remember.

Yep, I got my super nintendo with Super mario Allstars + mario world for my 5th birthday I think. I was so excited, I love watching the video of me opening it and screaming "I got my supo intendo!" That game was so cool, all the mario games in one! I also got what may be my favorite game of all time- mario rpg- later that year. I really wish that game would have a REAL sequel, it is a great game, and it seems like it doesn't ever get the recognition it deserves. Since I got the SNES in 1996 near the end of its life, I only had those 2 games and a couple others that I didn't play as much. A couple of weeks ago, though, I bought yoshi's Island on ebay, and so far that is an amazing game too.

In the first super mario world where bowsers castle is there is a minature castle there that has no roads leading to it, i know where to use a key in one of those key holes but I can't make it to there without being squished in one of the levels, what was that castle like?

It's actually been quite a while since I've played mario world all the way through to get to all the areas, but I'll get my game out later and see if I can still get there.

Ok, thanks, and if you find any secret areas in the "Star" levels, please tell me them.[br]Posted on: April 07, 2008, 05:45:49 PM________________________________________________ _I think it can move onto another game now.
next game: Yoshies Island. http://www.coolrom.com/screenshots/snes/Yoshi's%20Island.gif
Ever played it? You are playing as yoshie trying to save mario after the stork delivered them.
I'm pretty sure this was what the game maps look like http://www.consoleclassix.com/info_img/Super_Mario_World_2_Yoshis_Island_SNES_ScreenShot4 .jpg
I think that there were no alternate routes or extra places like secrets but if you have ever found any, please ask. I would have gave it a 9/10 rating.

Next game: Donkey Kong country 2.
In this game, you play as Diddy and Daphney kong trying to save Donkey Kong.
http://www.gameguru.in/images/donkey-kong-2-wii.jpg
If you use a rhino you can sometimes smash through walls and get bonus areas.
I give it a 10/10. My favorite world was the one with roller coasters and the boss was a huge bee.

Let me jog your memory.
The bosses in order (I think) are:
1. http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2004/reviews/919611_20041207_embed004.jpg It is a big bird that tries to peck you.
2. Klever http://thumbnail.search.aolcdn.com/truveo/images/thumbnails/2E/4C/2E4C67F6E4C21E.jpg it is a sword that tries to blow you up with fire balls and tries to slice you.
3. It's a big bee and you are a parrot. http://www.flyingomelette.com/greatgames/screens/dkc2bee.gif
4. http://thumbnail.search.aolcdn.com/truveo/images/thumbnails/12/C7/12C73E92832612.jpg its the guy with anger issues if he misses hitting you with barrels.
Final boss: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/thumb/3/37/Kaptain_K._Rool.jpg/180px-Kaptain_K._Rool.jpg Kaptain K. Rool.
I think thats all of em' but i'm not sure.

Since DKC1 was released on the GB I guess it would be. And I swear I missed one.[br]Posted on: April 08, 2008, 04:52:07 PM________________________________________________ _Hahahahaha, i was watching the bosses on youtubve and after you beat a boss, they play music.
On second boss, climb UP the hooks and you'll get a (DK) coin. At the begining of the first boss jump into the nest and you'll get coins. At the begining of second boss, jump off a hook onto the little wall there and throw a cannon ball at the wall.

Ok, dieing a bit.
Next game (same series): Donkey Kong country 3. http://snesmusic.org/v2/images/screenshots/dkdt.png
I would have givin this game a 6/10 for simalar plot but, you can control a boat and travel to diferent places so a 10/10. you can play a "Simon Says" type of game if you use your boat to find a cave.
You also can interact with some characters in the game for prizes. For example: in one world, you had to beat a guys record for completing a level and he would get angry, stomp around, and a log would fall and let you go to different stages.
If anyone besides me noticed this, when you go up the waterfall where to the left I think were snowy mountains, to the right of them, it looked like there was another place to go. It almost looked like a sunken city. If anyone got there, please tell me how. http://levelselect.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/donkeykongcountry3-dixiekongsdoubletrouble-world.png it may not show it on this map or the volcano thing sticking up is the thing I was looking at before, it's been awhile since I played it.

I remember that level, that was one of my favorites too, you could also be the two monkeys if you didn't catch the crate in time. you are talking about the tower that keeps moving you up right?
And sabby, i'm not trying to bee in a rush or anything but it's not that popular so i'm tryin to keep things flowing. It's a little small but the tower i'm thinking of is underneath the glowing light, I could get a better picture if I knew what the wordls name was.
You might be thinking of one of the levels where the acid gradually rises and to get the (DK) coin, you had to be really quick, I forgot what that one was.

Well there is one site that i know of. I would post the link here . But I don't think Retro uprising would appricate that. and you actualy have to download the program into your PC and no it's not a emulater type device. It's perfectly legal to play. The only thing is if you want to play SNES,Game Boy,Game gear and Genesis. You have to pay a $5 fee a month.the rest such as atari,NES, etc are free to play.

Gamefly fits none of that description. You can't rent SNES games on gamefly, nor can you download an emulator from gamefly or anything of the sort. Gamefly is stricktly for renting newer games.
I imagine he is talking about something like gametap, which you may be mistaking for gamefly. Similar name ;)

I know the site he's speaking of.
For a monthly fee it lets you temp download game files onto your computer. It only lets you download copies of ames the site owner supposedly owns and aren't being used by someone else. Afer a cerain time period the file is deleted and can be checked out again.
Think of it like an online blockbuster.

F-Zero is one of my favorite games for the SNES. It lacks bells and whistles, and it could really use multiplayer, but I keep playing the game over and over again. It's just plain fun. The game is notable for the sense of speed it evokes, and for showing the world the power of Mode 7. F-Zero is definitely recommended.
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I wrote a review of the game at NintendoNerds.com. It isn't up on the main site yet, but I posted it in the forum if you'd like to see it.

NEXT GAME:
KILLER INSTINCT
http://ki.vgfort.com/images/ki_snes_screenshot_title.gif
I can hardly remember the characters but it was basically like the arcade MK series gameplay, beat a few people, fight a semi boss (would be goro) then the big boss (or shang tsung). I was always a green guy, I know that. Brings back memories.

I always enjoyed the Killer Instinct games, just because it seemed to have a wider variety in terms of design in the characters than in a lot of games. Not dealing with this, but I was reading in a magazine the other day, and a new version is supposedly in the works. It'd be kind of interesting to see what they do with it.

The SNES was loads of good times.
Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Donkey Kong Country, Aladdin, Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, Sim City, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Super Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat 2, The WWF games (well it was with me & my cousins), NBA Jam, Super CastleVania 4, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, Star Fox, Zelda: Link to the Past, Illusion of Gaia, Final Fantasy 2 (really 4), Crono Trigger, Super Star Wars, Lufia & the Fortress of Doom,
Tecmo Super Bowl, Super High Impact.
That list is most of the games I got for that. Like I said, "Good times".

I thought the Equipment sub-screen on Super Metroid, where you could turn your abilities on and off was SO cool, you could make beam combp's that were so much fun, not to mention it could make the game harder if you wanted too
