My Id is the same as here.
As for games so far, I have New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, Black Ops II, and Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper.
not many games I see out that I like, yet, but when pikmin comes out, and probably smash bros. by then there will be more games out that I'll like

I gotta say this new console seems like a dud. Sure it has good sales so far but I hear almost no one talking about it positively. When I hear news it's always some failure like treating their euro customers like children. Do you guys think it will do as well as the Wii or has that hype ship sailed?

I've actually enjoyed it considerably so far. Nintendo Land is vastly underrated. With a group of friends, it is really really fun. Has a Mario Party feel to it when you play with a lot of people.
Also I'm getting good use out of the fact that I can play WiiU games while someone watches TV. I played NSMBU for 2 hours before while my brother was playing an Xbox 360 game lol. Everyone in the family is satisfied lol.

I keep hearing how good Nintendo Land is but I watched a video about it and it seems like just a collection of mini games. Of the six multiplayer ones only a couple look like they might be good for more than a couple minutes.

The game is only minigames. But there are 3-10 different levels/modes for each minigame.
The Legend of Zelda one for example has like 8-10 different levels if I remember correctly.

To me it doesn't matter what the hype is or how well it sells. All that matters is that it has games I want to play. On that front, not yet. We only have one because my son asked Santa for one.

It's funny to see some nintendo fans mad about this as if being cross platform effects them. Also, people care about rayman?

What a friggin moron, probably just wanted twitter followers.
@DB, I don't think they do care, it's a stunning game visually, but it just doesn't have the content that other games these days have, and it doesn't have the gameplay of NSMB. I think the days of charging full price for straight up 2d platformers are numbered. The are gonna start needing to incorporate more rpg elements, or some creative online play or something, to warrant the full price tag.

They're more upset that the game is finished and Ubisoft is delaying it for 7 months. Even the devs have sounded off on that issue, having worked overtime for months to finish by the previous released date, only to have all that rush suddenly been done for nothing.
Incoming drama: Dev team protest (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-02-12-michel-ancel-and-rayman-dev-team-appear-in-protest-at-ubisofts-decision-to-delay-rayman-legends)

The delay is definitely part of it but I've read lots of posts about losing the exclusive. I don't care about this game I just like games being cross platform in general.

I guess they are mad because they were looking for this title to help justify their purchases.

I think you'd get this from any of the fanbases. That being said, like Seahawk pointed out I could certainly see being upset about having a game delayed just because Microsoft has some rule that any game released on their system has to release same-day or before other consoles.

Is it really because of MS or is that just an assumption?

I can only go by what the Dev team has said. Read it on GoNintendo which is a Nintendo news feed site.
Basically it was 100% finished for the Wii-U but then the decision was made to multi-platform it (which I couldn't care about). Microsoft has a policy that any retail release on their system must be released on the same day or prior to other venues. Hence the delay is the Wii-U version is so they can ready the 360 port.
Offtopic: Rayman Legends demo is pretty damn sweet. Obviously video is downgraded for Youtube but still: Wii U - Rayman Legends / Castle Rock - YouTube

It's a Microsoft policy.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-08-24-why-microsoft-wont-publish-psn-firsts
Titles for Xbox 360 must ship at least simultaneously with other video game platform, and must have at least feature and content parity on-disc with the other video game platform versions in all regions where the title is available.
If these conditions are not met, Microsoft reserves the right to not allow the content to be released on Xbox 360.
Sony has a similar policy, in that late releases on their platform must carry exclusive content.

Looks amazing, doesn't seem to be all that much game in there though. Kinda seems more like a rhythm game, hopefully the whole thing isn't like that.

So it isn't because of MS or Sony it's because of Ubisoft. They weren't forced into this deal, right?
Seahawk

It's a messy deal overall of clashing interests.
Both Nintendo and Ubisoft sell this as a major exclusive, and it's probably not out of the question that many people bought the console looking forward to this game.
Meanwhile the devs are rushing to finish the game only to eventually find out that "we've spent 6 months barely seeing our wifes, kids, and friends for nothing because, after all, such a haste wasn't needed."
Ubisoft is probably genuinely concerned about the very low Wii U install base and third party sales thus far. That or they see extra profit in simply having a PS3/360 version.
Sony/Microsoft policy requires games to be released simultaneously, and Ubi high staff probably see more sales potential on those platforms.
So now, game is finished, yet delayed for reasons that are absolutely irrelevant to the Wii U potential buyer.
Wii U owners are unable to buy the game during the huge software drought on that console right now.
Devs see their hard efforts as totally pointless and wasted.
And now, the release date is pushed to November, going against the heavy blockbuster hitters on PS3/360 (GTA V is a biggie) as well as Nintendo own releases in the time period (Zelda and whatever else).
It is a very real possibility that by then interest in the game will have waned and it will flop being unable to compete against other big titles.
As a result devs see their hard work wasted more, Ubi high staff interprets as nobody wanting this kind of game, cut back further similar projects and Wii U support, etc etc.
Very messy.

So really all the hard feelings should be directed at Ubisoft, or at least the higher ups. They could've just rode it out with Nintendo for a while. The WiiU may not be the juggernaut their past consoles have been but it's still Nintendo. They make some extra money but I bet Nintendo isn't too happy with them right now and we know most fans aren't either. Pretty fail.

Ubi won't care about how Nintendo feels. Nintendo holds no power over third parties like Microsoft and Sony do.
The fans can't do anything, if they choose not to buy the game the only ones hurt are the devs who don't get future projects.

Sure they can just not care what people think but realistically it's not smart to piss off one of the biggest names in the industry and fans of the games you make.

Nintendo's in no position to act butthurt with any third party publisher.
