Wow, I don't even know what most of these do. I still want to get another world going, was thinking with a lot of mods. Friends and I were going to get a server going, but it never happened.

I'm up to 56 mods with the Red Power that I've been waiting for. Time for my picture dairy to begin!
I started my world in a "Green Swamp" biome. Sorry about the night shot.

Dug a square hobbit hole to settle down in and quickly set to gathering initial resources.
This is my dusts chest which houses redstone and nikolite (mostly used for batteries) currently.

Encountered a chicken storm the other day. Probably just something silly for Christmas. It just kept raining chickens. They made no sounds and self destructed upon touching the ground without damaging anything. You couldn't interact with them like attack them either.

I went exploring around my spawn. Marked off waypoints on my mini map for two nearby villages, a volcano, a very large oil deposit, and a greatwood tree. Pics will follow as I start doing things with them. I also used this time to collect some resources like sand, clay, and leather.
Back at home I made a small macerator/generator/electric furnace setup but I wasn't happy with it's performance. That led me to go with three steam engines, a pulverizer, and a powered furnace. The pulverizer on the left will hold up to five stacks thanks to the attached hopper. It then takes every ore and turns each one into two pieces of dust. The pulverizer then feed the furnace which takes each dust and converts it into an ingot effectively giving me two ingots per ore. Then the furnace places the ingots into the chest,

The steam engines require water, coal, and a redstone signal to run but are efficient. It took less than 18 coal to pulverize and smelt 6 stacks of ores.

Ok, the Raining chickens is funny, but why did it happen? xD

Picture time!
Project Table; works like a crafting table and a chest. It can save specific recipes using blueprints and craft them up if it's holding the necessary materials with a simple click.

Getting started on energy storage. Top left is a generator which transfers coal or other fuels into EU (Energy Units). The brown box is a BatteryBox which stores EU, up to 40,000 units or ~ 10 coal. to the right of it is just an Extractor I have running off of the BatBox which lets me convert sap into rubber more efficiently.

The humble beginnings of Tenser Corp. The walls are made out of Basalt Bricks and the floors are out or Marble Bricks. Picture angle taken courtesy of a jetpack.

I've moved and expanded my processing station into the main structure. I'm now pumping in water from the pond outside and have doubled the number of Powered Furnaces. Also I've added the beginnings of processing wood as well. The Sawmill to the far right converts each log it's fed into 6 planks a 1 sawdust and deposits all of it in my wood chest next to it. The Autocrafting Table to the left of the chest detects when there's 8 sawdust in the chest and crafts it into compressed saw dust and sends it into a furnace which turns it into charcoal and ships it off into my coal chest ready to help power the whole setup.

The beginnings or my storage facility. Just the metals and fuels chests are integrated thus far. The weird looking thing to the right is a barrel and cheaply holds up to 64 stacks of one item, in this case cobblestone.
