Hey all, does anyone know a good place to get spare parts for consoles? Specifically, I am trying to buy a replacement peg for my Neo Geo CDZ that keeps the system closed. The peg in my system has been broken for several years and so the system won't stay closed without sitting books or something heavy on it.
Here's a pic of what a system looks like open:

The piece I need is the peg on the right side, or in lieu of that I need to buy a whole new lid. Anyone have any ideas on where I could buy one or ther other? Thanks! :D
The peg you are talkting about is the locking mechanisim on the right hand side correct? I think the only way to fix that is to find a junked system and replace the lid completely. Another option would be to jimmy rig it somehow. I tried looking around for parts, but I couldn't find anything usefull online. Hope you find what you need buddy.

Thanks amigo. That's exactly the one. It has a little pointed edge that locks into a depression/groove when you push the lid down. I'll try that. A jury rigged one might work if I can come up with something that will lock into that groove. I have tried searching for a CDZ lid to, but no luck so far.
Yeah, it's not a very common system here in the western world, so finding a spare part for it here is going to be difficult. You might need to buy it from like a Japanese ebay and just use a translator to look for what you need.
Probably easier to use something like a giant rubber band to strap it down.
Or try to find a latch of some sort that you can glue to the outside of the lid. And snap it shut from the outside of the lid instead of the inside.

That's a good idea. It's true it's really tough to find stuff. I have a Neo Geo CD as well, but the lid and system shape are totally different and so no compatible.
