This game sounds like another attempt to make money off the Guitar Hero franchise. Too many spin-offs games, its turning into DDR.

I'm pretty sure that it is only Aerosmith and yes, they have made too many Guitar Hero games.

It's not just Aerosmith, there are a few other bands.
This is a bad idea, and I doubt it's GH4 (I've heard this is an add-on to 3) but if it is, GH is going to lose some big time money.

They should work on DLC for Wii, as well as Rock Star for the Wii.

Are you guys freakin' kidding me??? AEROSMITH?
We're talking about one of the greatest rock bands of all time here:
Sweet Emotion
Dream On
Same old Song and Dance
Walk this Way
Dude looks like a lady
Love in an elevator
Janie's got a gun
This will be a guaranteed home run. Personally, I'd love to see a Led Zepplin version, or a Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd version as well. I think what's happening here is that the older bands are recognizing that there is an untapped market here where they can "resell" their songs to a whole new demographic (the 10-21 year olds).
Cheers!

I agree that Aerosmith is a great band but I think it should have more variety. I would also like to see some Pink Floyd songs, that would be awesome. Just to end my comment, here's a hilarious quote from Steven Tyler about Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.
“Any band that can go from ‘Don’t Want to Miss A Thing’ (Aerosmith’s #1 smash hit) to the ass-kicking ‘Sweet Emotion’ to the cheekiness of ‘Love in an Elevator,’ to the classic ballad ‘Dream On’ shows why Activision chose us to headline this game based on the diversity of the Aerosmith catalog. Not only is songwriting a bitch, but then it goes and has puppies.” - Steven Tyler

I like the diversity of GH3, this is just a way for them to make a killing by selling band versions.
Again, DO NOT WANT

I don't like Aerosmith, so I'm definitely not getting it.

Me neither, I've heard talk of a Beatles GH over at IGN, that would probably a hit.

Sorry to say, but it would need to be a cheap game for me to get it. Probably wouldn't pay full price for it. Definitely wouldn't mind waiting until it turned up in a shop used. Probably won't get it anyway.

Obviously the market they would be appealing to with making games based on individual bands' tracklists would be smaller than the regular games, but I can understand why they would. They don't have to change anything about the game outside of the appearance of the characters and the songs. However, I don't think there is any reason to price the game at anything over $25 U.S. Whether that would be profitable or not is the question.
I agree with Tanc that a Zeppelin version would be great. That would probably be one of the two or three I would consider purchasing.

I have never liked GH because it was just boring to me, If I were ever to get it, it would only be a cheap rental from Blockbuster.

I love GH, but will i get this? probably not. Its great for Aerosmith fans, and some of the songs would be fun to play, but this would be more like something to rent for a week. I'll just stick to GH 2, 3, and Rock Band

Well, I couldn't wait to get this game when it was released...and I did...unfortunately. This is good for Aerosmith fanatics and that's pretty much it in my opinion. Nothing in this game can compare to GH III's TtFaF, One, Paint it Black, and about 50 other songs...lol I didn't like this as much as I thought I would...total Aerosmith overkill.

I was really disappointed in GH Aerosmith. I only played it a couple of times, but it just didn't do it for me.
Personally, I love the Guitar Hero Series, but it's more of a party game for me. I can't sit around playing that thing by myself. Not sure why.
I guess i feel guilty knowing that if I wanted to put the time into perfecting expert level, I may as well put that same time into playing REAL guitar!
I am looking forward to GH World Tour...

Tank24, Guitar Hero: World Tour is out now and has been for a little while. Have you played it yet?
About GH: Aerosmith...I just hated playing it. I beat it on Medium level then immediately took the disk out of my Wii and popped in GH III. I don't mind playing GH by myself. I played all night when I first bought GH III. I was jamming really hard!

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is lame. GH: World Tour is just more Rock Band.
I am getting to the saturation point of these plastic guitar/drums games. I don't know how much longer I can stay interested. I am kind of looking forward to this upcoming Beatles Rock Band style game. I hope they do it right.

I disagree...GH is way more difficult and challenging than Rock Band. Expert level on Rock Band is equivalent to Medium (maybe hard for some songs) on GH.
