why cant i load saved games?

What game, system and play mode?

gameboy....and full java mode

Game Boy or Game Boy Color?

regular gameboy, for pokemon red

Game Boy and Game Boy Color Java Mode only has save ram also called battery saves, cart saves, SRAM, or in-game saves. This is different than save states.

Make sure you are logged in.
Load the game in Java.
Use the original game's built in save feature. For Pokemon this means press Start (Enter), select Save, Press A Button (X Key), select Yes.
After you have created a save in the game back it up to the server. Double click the game. Select Save. Click Yes. Click OK.

Now next time you play the game.
Make sure you are still logged in.
Load the game in Java.
Double Click the game.
Select Load. Click Yes. Click OK.
Then use the games original continue feature. In Pokemon Red this means you select Continue for the start menu.

If you want regular save states then you would need to play this game in ArcadeOX Full Mode.
