Just where were you in early June of 2008? If you answered "the former 1UP.com offices," at some point you were probably trapped in a small, hot room full of microphones, forced to speak about the Metal Gear series at length by former Retronauts host Jeremy Parish. At least, this is how I imagine it -- odds are, things went much smoother, and with far less violence. That said, since we're devoting this entire week to Metal Gear coverage, what better time to dust off Retronauts episode 43 and shove it back into the spotlight? This Metal Gear-centric episode features a rousing discussion of Kojima's polarizing series with former 1UPers Shane Bettenhausen, Andrew Pfister, and Scott Sharkey, who each bring to the table their own charming anecdotes and incisive analysis. Note: this episode was recorded in a more innocent time before the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 (http://www.1up.com/games/ps3/metal-gear-solid-4) rent this country in twain.
