horrific movies you must watch

All right, I've really gotten into watching some films that could be difficult to watch without saying to yourself, "what the hell did I just watch?"

I usually watch movies without watching the trailer, but instead simply select films based on the synopsis. I feel that the trailers show a bit too much about the movie. Especially when the movie is a psychological horror film.

This one really took a bit to get into, but is well worth the wait.

This one is really messed up. Not as graphic as I expected, but it has strong scenes of torture and violence. Also, the trailer tells too much about the plot.

This one is probably one of the most disturbingly messed up films I've seen so far. This one is a must watch.

@Joz- You actually watched Serbian Film? From what I read about it they just tried way too hard to shock people and it's not a good movie. I read about all the bad parts and I can agree with that assessment.
The rest of those movies are supposed to be watchable at least.

I don't know what to say about Gummo...looks dumb. I actually have Hard Candy on my to watch list. My brother recommended it to me. Yeah, I saw Serbian. Well when I saw it, I really didn't know what to expect since I only read the synopsis, which was pretty vauge. I liked it and I really was left asking myself "What the fudge?"

You know what's creepy about Hard Candy? I've heard plenty of women said they wish that guy picked them up when they were younger. They probably should've cast someone less handsome for the role of a creepy online predator. :lol:

@D-nation: I saw most of them on Netflix. Some I find on youtube and others I find by simply looking around sites and lucking out with a decent stream and no downloading nor registration needed.
