Wolfenstein! For Free! On my I phone!

I (as well as probably many of you over the age of 25) used to play this game a lot when I was a kid. I'm happy to inform you I'm waiting for it to download as I post this.

Alright just played the first lvl to test it out and I must say for a phone they did a above average job on the controls. I just wish I could remember where all that stupid treasure was.

Free! Nice! Hope you enjoy it. I beat all the episodes except the fourth episode I think it was. Couldn't find my way out of the 4-6 or something. I only had the snes one for the longest time though, getting the pc one on 360 was a real treat.

Noticed this in the app store the other day. My only complant is the the sensitivity needs to be dialed down a little bit.

This is one of the few games where guns and blood are involved that I really liked but... I couldn't play it because I got dizzy after I had to start shooting at dogs :(

You can adjust the sensitivity in the settings menu.

So how do the controls work? I don't even see how it's possible.

@DM that hapened to me at first as well. I just refreshed the page and it worked.

@SC On the Phone version u just have arrow keys on the left and a shoot button on the right. The doors open automatically when you walk into them, and I haven't figured out if you can strafe yet haven't had much time to play.

@Kong I thought people might want to try this instead because there's 30 new levels and you can get it on your phone.

@DB Yeah I guess that's not true. I can't find the article I read that in so I must of dreamed it or something. I was pretty tired when I was Looking this stuff up.

I started playing this again on XBLA some time ago. Has anyone ever beaten it on the hardest difficulty? (I am death incarnate). in my new game I started playing on the hardest difficulty, and I've gotten through 2 of the 6 episodes so far. The difficulty is really upped for this, and I love it. It actually makes me jump sometimes still :P

No I couldn't imagine playing it on the hardest setting. The phone alone makes it harder cause you cant strafe.

That's ridiculous. Strafing is one of the keys to not getting shot, more so in Doom, but still in Wolfenstein.

Playing Nightmare on Doom is impossible since the enemies respawn like mad. Ultra-violence is too Easy, and Nightmare is too brutal.

Yeah it's pretty hard but it's funI just play on the default setting. I'm only on the 7th or 8th floor in the first episode because I only play it when I'm bored at work. I think it's safe to say though I wont be getting past the second episode.
