I searched the forums and didn't come up with anything so I apologize if this has been asked/answered before.
Out of curiosity I'm wondering which database RU pulls their world record score data from. With TwinGalaxies, CAGDC, Aurcade, RecordSetter, MARP, etc all tracking high scores I get a little confused at times. To give some background, I was researching the wr on Navarone. It's listed here (and at TG) as 135k though there is a score on MARP of 300k+. If someone smashed the score here but it was less than 300k, would it still technically be a wr?

TG has specific rules that have to be followed for their scores and game/dip switch settings and game versions. They don't allow point scabbing. From the scores that I have seen on this site listed as W/W, they pull from several sources, not strictly TG or marp. Even some listed on this pdf homepage.powerup.com.au/~slunk/GAMES.pdf
The world record list is still in the early stages. It got put on hold while some other more important things get finished.
We will pull from all lists that hold themselves to high standards. Meaning we will accept MARP scores. We will not accept YouTube videos.

@Smash. TG and RU have pretty similar rules.

Thanks for the update Kong. I've been waiting for any organization to collect scores into one ultimate database. Really glad to see that's being implemented in the future.
@Smash, RU doesn't allow scabbing either. I've made sure in all my Zoo Keeper submissions to not land on the top coconut board more than three times (as per TG's rules). Trying to stay "by the book" here.
Kong, thanks for all the work that you do for RU and its members.
Best,
CP

Yea, I like RU's high standards for submissions. Pretty much TG's rules, but better because you play the games right on the site. Kong is a genius for engineering this, a bigger "Genius" than Kanye West.
