You know you live in 2008 when.....
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯
1.) you accidentally enter your pass on a microwave.
2.) you haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3.) the reason for not staying in touch with your friends is that they don't have a screen name.
4.) you'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the button on the tv.
6.) your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job.
7.) you read this list, & keep nodding and smiling.
8.) as you read this list, you think about telling someone about it.
9.) and you were too busy to notice there isn't a number 5
10.) you actually scrolled back up to check that there was a number 5.
11.) and now you're laughing at your stupidity.
12.) post here if you got tricked, and you know you did :P

I've seen that before, it's great.
I would like to add something:
-Your young children can set up the DVD player right out of the box.
-Those same children have preset all of your phone numbers on your cell phone.

When your hip-hop mayor faces felony perjury charges based upon his "text messaging scandal" which includes such classics as, "I'm your bruh" and "True dat..."

The preceding image is an excerpt of text messages subpoenaed in a lawsuit against the City of Detroit by wrongfully discharged police officers. It demonstrates that Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was having an extra-marital affair with his chief-of-staff, Christine Beatty. They are both charged with various counts of perjury as it relates to that proceeding based upon the texts between each other. It's all over the place here: http://www.freep.com, and http://www.myfoxdetroitcomThey conspired to fire the man despite sworn testimony to the contrary. They also swore against intimate relations, but texted about the bodyguards being right outside the door when they were 'gettin' jiggy wid it."
Just pretty stunned that our text messages (at least, for public officials using city-funded communication devices) are preserved and can later be held against us. It's like the dang-ole Akashic records...
