11.) and now you're laughing at your stupidity.

It demonstrates that Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was having an extra-marital affair with his chief-of-staff, Christine Beatty. They are both charged with various counts of perjury as it relates to that proceeding based upon the texts between each other. Just pretty stunned that our text messages (at least, for public officials using city-funded communication devices) are preserved and can later be held against us. It's like the dang-ole Akashic records...
