Sorry, forgot to write down the hex code that comes in the error dialog, but Chrono Trigger is crashing right at the save point before the boss in Heckran Cave. I've successfully made it past this point before using RU, though it's been several months since the last time I played the game and I felt like starting from the beginning again. Unfortunately now it seems the extreme beginning is the only part I'm able to play!
I have used the save point and skipped it, both ways it crashes and my saved game reverts to the one saved just before entering the cave on the main map. At least I'm getting good at rushing through the dungeon :thinking:
When I have time - hopefully tomorrow - I will try again without my Saitek USB controller, in case that's the issue, and update with the actual crash info.
