Hi hi Retro Peeps. I noticed in a Retro thread Dudebro asked "Now how do I use a controller with this" so that got me thinking and I tried it out and found a way :). To use your USB controller on a N64 game go to the input menu then click on devices. There should be a option there that let you choice what device you want to use (since I am using a raido shack gigaware usb computer controller I put it as generic usb controller). Now go back to the screen were you can assign the buttons and it should now recognize your usb controller and you should now be able to set the controller up the way you like it :). I hope this helps everyone :) and have a good day all :).

Also don't forget to save what you set up there should be a box that says save profile. Why must I save you ask don't it remember and put it that way for each game. Well sad to say no it does not and if you don't save your profile will have to go thorough the task of setting all the buttons again by saving you can now select load profile in the input configuration menu and select your safe configuration and it will load it what you set.

Go to Options- Input Settings - Devices - Gamepad. In the drop down menu it should recognize what kind of controller you're using. Once you choose it then choose the Controls tab and assign the buttons. Hit save when you're done.

Your directions are good Aloha I just wanted to post it more a little more clearly. ;)

I was having trouble getting any games to work with the 360 controller but I figured out how to use the tab to open up the menu and it worked.

Glad to hear it. It sucks that it's not as simple as other systems but I don't think we can do much about it.
