Last night was a blast guys. Had a lot of fun even though I did die four times more than when I was playing SSP. :p

Figured our little expedition deserved its own thread.

It was awesome when I logged in with a render distance of tiny, so that I was more or less in space, and then I switched to normal and was all O_O when I saw the walls and all the mobs.

Scrambling for those first two bases was really intense and fun, here's hoping that the rest of the exploration is just as intense.

with optifine, my render distance is like short and a half while still thinking it's on tiny. I could see most of the area on tiny, just not way up there. It was fun indeed, though.

Some thoughts.

-We should be taking pictures. :D
-I want to explore the walls of Cenote of the Apprentice (the spawn map) as I know there's at least one hidden chest we missed. There's four of us to equip so it really does us a disservice to leave any potential armor/weapons/food/potions behind.
-We should move most of our storage to that big room to the side of the Victory Monument. Seperate the food from the blocks, etc...
-We should also craft and lvl 1 enchant some stone swords so we have something quick to grab if we die. The difference between a stone sword and a stone sword with sharpness I is 4 or 3 hits. One less hit makes it a great value for 1 enchanting lvl in my opinion.
-We should spread out a little more during combat/lighting up terrain.
-The next area will require a lot of torches.

Not going to bowling tonight. Server is up, but I don't know when I'll be on. Really want to play some NHL 12, so probably later like 9 EST or later :P

I wouldn't care if he decided not to open it. It's just when you couple that with the fact that he specifically held me from logging off the night before to tell me that he'd reopen the server the next day around 6:30.

If an emergency prevented him then it would have been fine. But he was on and posting already, all he needed to do was say "hey guys, don't feel like playing tonight so the server wont be up."

...Ten, I had the server on all afternoon and evening yesterday, and no one came on. I can boot it up now as well.

Server won't be up today. Fixing my computer. Not really neccesary, but I want it to run fast again. Backing up all the files I want including the server onto this computer, and wiping the laptop clean.

Sorry to say, but the server will not be up today. At least not as early. There has been one particular hockey game that I've been waiting to see all year, and the matchup is only happening once this year, and that is today. Edmonton at Winnipeg. The stupid Vancouver televisors won't air it here, so I need to watch it with my computer, and that takes everything out of my computer. Very important game to me, so I apologize. Also, blame the stupid Vancouver Television for being self-fixated on just the Vancouver Canucks and not Airing it here.

On second thought, just check later to see if the servers going. If the games not televised... Then whatever I can get on my computer will be bad quality to watch an away game, where my team will probably lose lol. Not too motivating. I'll watch highlights. Winnipeg will be playing 6 games against us next year, onwards.

Also, the server is up, ran late since I didn't think practicing at contacts would take so long, and yet I still failed..

Kongger looked into that free server hosting for me but it wouldn't support more than two at a time. To support Minecraft it would be around $60/mnth which is too much for my taste.

It's not that I don't want to play. Well, I do, and I don't. I want to play, but not under the conditions my computer is providing me with, you know? I'm happy to host the server for you guys, and try to play when I can though. One things for sure, I definitely can't host and play on this laptop anymore. Too bogged down now.

I lead a busy life as of late. Bowling tomorrow morning, then my friends all day until later in the night. I could try to turn the server on in the morning before I leave, but best bet is Sunday, and maybe Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday as well. There is actually a strike going on, so I'm off until Thursday. Might be skiing wednesday, idk. Like I said, busy life :P

I'm sorry, I know this must be a pain to you guys. Server is up now, please let me know if you can connect this time since no one did yesterday I'm suspicious.

I think it crashed in a weird way. I just reboot. It said ten was on, but it wasn't reading lag and it had all these weird messages that were error messages the server sent me as well.
