1)Final Fantasy Tactics. Awesome game. So many jobs and ways to customize your characters. In my opinion it's one of the best Tactics games ever made.

2)Tactics Ogre. Another awesome game. Not as customizable as FFT but makes up for it in difficulty and story. Tied for first in my opinion of best tactics game ever made.

3)Fallout1/2/tactics. This is one of the BEST game series ever made for any system ever. EVER.

4)Romance of the Three Kingdoms(any of them). My first simulation game, still one of my favorites.

5)Final Fantasy. This game introduced me to RPGs and I am thankful for it.

6)FF2/FF3(US). Contributed to my RPG addiction. Both great.

7)Civilazation. I still love this game and play it all the time.

8)Final Fantasy 11. My first true MMORPG. It's so good I've been playing it for about 3-4 years. Never ending game with all the player interactions and side stuff to do. Only negative is the pay per month thing.

9)Diablo1&2. My first Online gaming. I'd still play it if I had the discs.

10)Elderscrolls. Very ambitious game series with so much to do. Made me love Bethesda(here's hoping they don't screw up Fallout.).

We did a topic like this before I think, doesn't matter though since we got so many new members.

BTW Tails, why do you like Tails so much? I personally hated him but I was older when it came out so maybe that explains that. I'm just wondering since Sonic seems like a much cooler character.

Rambo I assumed it was games of all time, if not I got a lot of changes to make. :'(

Out of This World
Buck Rodgers Countdown to Doomsday
Shining Force
Phantsy Star
The Immortal
Wonderboy in Monsterland

In that order.

If it wasn't for those games then this website wouldn't exist.

I will have to think more before adding the last 4.

Also nearly any twitch, puzzle, strategy or board game. But more because I am good at them than because I love them.

Kong I also loved Buck Rodgers CtD. ;D

TMT mentioned Earthbound and Ocarina of Time. I'm mad at myself for not thinking of those. :-[

Tenser added Zelda: A link to the past. So good should be on everyones lists. ;)

I love this kinda of conversation it always makes me remember all the great games I've played.

Only 10! I'll try to limit it to that. I may cross some out when I think of others.

1. Secret of Mana (SNES) - I have to agree with Tenser on this one. I spent more money renting this game that I probably could have bought the game three times over. If you have not played this game and you are into RPG's it is a MUST!!

2. Dragon Warrior/Quest (NES) - This is the game that started my love of RPG's. It didn't have the same fight scenes as Final Fantasy series has, but it is an awesome game. The series is still one of my faves.

3. Legend of Zelda - Link to the Past (SNES) - This game is genius. A second underlying world to play. The series is great, but this one took the series to a whole new level.

4. Baseball Stars (NES) - This is a wonderful baseball sim. The great thing about it is that you are able to create an entire team and improve them by playing games. I am currently playing this game and making an RU All-Star team. If your into baseball games, this is a great one. (Not to be confused with the lesser sequel Baseball Stars 2)

5. Tecmo Bowl Series (NES/SNES/GEN) - Before the Madden craze there was Tecmo Bowl. This series paved the way for football games of today. It's greatness is in its simplicity. The team edit feature in the third installment (SNES/GEN) is awesome.

6. Diablo I & II (PC) - A wonderful game that is great single player and insanely fun multi-player. When you're in the mood for a slash and dash, play this game.

7. Final Fantasy Games (Pick one) - A series who's longevity is amazing. I've only beaten 1 and 7 in the series plus 1 and 2 of the legend series for the GB. There are some I haven't even tried yet, but plan to in the near future.

8. Super Mario 3 (NES) - The one that elevated this series (and funny enough, the first Mario game I ever beat :o). Who knew portly plumbers could fly, I guess if you have a magic feather anything is possible.

9. Dungeon Siege I & II (PC) - This is Microsoft's answer to Diablo. This has a great RPG/adventure quality to it but also has some challenging puzzles to break up the slashing. Very well made.

10. The Sims (PC) - Why do I find it so fun to make a computer rendition of myself go to the bathroom. I don't know why, but I do. This is a really fun game and with all the expansions, you will never get bored.

I'll start with that for now. It may change in the next couple weeks as games come to me.

I'll add Secret of Mana to 7th place.

Also all of mine except Buck CtD nd SoM are online here. If you like adventure games you should check them all out.

In the Shining Force series for Genesis. Shining in the Darkness is the first and lest fun game nd Shining Force II is the last and best. I haven't played the Game Gear versions but I plan too soon.

It is best to start with the SMS Phantasy Star and then move on to the Genesis versions and if you still are interested go back to the Game Gear.

Skip the first Wonder Boy. Start with WB in ML for SMS. Then WB III: The Dragon's Trap for SMS. Then Monster World III for Gen. Then Monster World IV also for Gen.

The NES version of Immortal is the only one online here. I have never played it. I played the SNES and Genesis versions.

Yeah dragon warrior was really good, I liked the first one but the sequels were awesome. 3&4 were very good RPGs, some of my favorites.

And yeah Baseball Stars was an awesome game too. I spent alot of hours playing that even though the actual baseball part of it was mostly terrible. The edit feature was cool.

The Sims was also really fun. I didn't like it alot though because after awhile the game seemed like a chore. And my Sims were always very stupid. :-[

I love, love, love RPG games. I could play them constantly with no breaks (except when I need to use the bathrom, but I could just install a catheter) until I beat the game. Then sleep for 2 days and repeat with a new RPG.

I bought the game, played through the first two levels, and traded it back in. It's awful. Thankfully I bought it used.
