That happened to me too not too long ago. Have you recently deleted your cache?

The save files are saved in one of these two places
%temp%\arcadeox\scorexI\nvram\genesis
%temp%\low\arcadeox\scorexI\nvram\genesis

That is a temp folder and sometimes can disappear. The most likely cause of it disappearing is if you use a program like CCleaner.

The next version of the arcadeox plugin will have a solution for this problem but it is not available yet.

The Beta version of Score Mode stores save files on the server so this will not happen if you use play in the Beta Mode. To use the beta scroll to the bottom of the page and change the style from default to beta.

Also you can find the save in the folders listed above and make back up copies of it to prevent this in the future.

Also you can use a program like DropBox (http://retrouprising.com/db.tt/xVssupM) or Google Desktop (http://download.cnet.com/Google-Desktop/3000-2379_4-10328117.html) to make auto back ups of that folder.

Sorry.

You can also do this:

All of this is without quotes.
Open "My Computer" or "Computer" from the "Start Menu" or the "Desktop".
In the address bar type "%temp%\arcadeox\Low\super-nintendo\saves\" and press enter.
If that does not work then type "%temp%\arcadeox\super-nintendo\saves\" and press enter.
Find your save in this folder and email it to yourself.
Download the save from your email and put it in the same folder on your other computer.

When I wanna make sure I don't lose a save I just copy the save file to the desktop and make a folder for it. I keep copying over it as a I progress.
