Games Similar to Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden

I just finished the epic indie game "Charles Barkley's Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden". It freaking rocks! But, as I said, I FINISHED it. Now I'm looking for a game similar in awesomeness to it. Does anyone have any recommendations? Like, if I liked SUaJ:G, I'll love x game?

This sounds weird, why make a indie game about a Barkley basketball game out of all the other choices? Either way it would help if you explained the gameplay(if it's different than just a sports game).

It is a post-apocalyptic RPG where Basketball is outlawed, since Barkley performed a Chaos Dunk wiping out most of New York. You fight basketball monsters, Ghost Dad, and the Diabeasty, a monster made of evil sugar. Throughout all this, it takes itself very seriously. It is better if you look at some youtube videos or play for yourself. Explaining it makes it sound stupid, when it far from it.

obviously earthbound and rom hacks. You might find some weirdo rpg stuff on Amiga too, maniac mansion if you never played it and basically all the lucas art's rpgs. Larry, kings quest, police quest, etc. Rpg maker forums have loads of weird/funny games.
