I know it might be a bit early for some people, but its only about a month away. The question here is, whats your favorite song to listen to when the holidays come around?

As for me Vince Guaraldi Trio - "Christmastime Is Here (Instrumental) ("A Charlie Brown Christmas")" - YouTube
I like just about anything that's charlie brown themed

I don't like Christmas music until December actually starts. Then, I merely tolerate it. It becomes decent on the tenth, I begin to enjoy it on the fifteenth and I love it on the twentieth.
I also hate it on the eighth, I'd rather my birthday not be filled with Christmas music.
Right now, it's still November, so my favorite Christmas music is the kind that doesn't exist.

When I do begin to like Christmas music, I'm a fan of Bing Crosby's Christmas music.

I'm the house dj for a christmas 8 bit show. I'm used to playing "shows" but I've never really hosted an entire night like this. The guys were like "play what you like" so as a rest from my usual ...err noise/rave stuff I thought I would do something fun.

SO ANYWAY, I've been looking for christmas songs and stuff and found this Dolly Parton Christmas special, I started listening and had no idea the lyrics were about the freaking Apocalypse !

Man Americans Christians can be weird sometimes lol.

Any videogame related christmas music suggestions would be very much welcomed, I got a few hours to fill 0_o.

This is a classic from way back in the day, The 8bitpeoples - The 8bits of Christmas [8bp038] : The 8bitpeoples : Free Download & Streaming : Internet Archive (http://www.archive.org/details/8bp038)

Just Another Christmas Song - Stephan Colbert - YouTube

Steven Colbert's Christmas album is awesome.

Someone needs to make a Death Metal Christmas album, it would be so funny.

What?
Which song are you talking about?
That one Dolly sings in the video?

ON TOPIC:
I admit that some of the songs have nice melodies.
The lyrics I don't care for much {being a devout Atheist}, so I prefer instrumentals such as the Charlie Brown Jazz.

Speaking of, isn't it ironic how he told Snoopy how he hated the commercial aspect of X - mas, but now Starbucks' is selling the CD of the soundtrack?
Charlie Brown must be rolling in his grave over that.

Just a bit longer before I begin enjoying Christmas music. I know it seems like an arbitrary date, 1 December, before I begin to enjoy Christmas music. I am fond of November still being November, and not becoming part of the Christmas season. Once I begin enjoying it, I can go into detail about my tastes in Christmas music.

But not one moment before?
I'm kidding, it's like some kind of group mentality thing and I admit to suffering from that too.
Besides, ya gotta save something for tomorrow's posts, right?

The reasoning is that November is November, Christmas in December, Christmas does not need to spill over into November, it already has the first twenty-five days of December.

I now am begining to enjoy Christmas music.
My favorites are the Bing Crosby ones, like White Christmas. I also enjoy the music from older Christmas movies.
Also, Trans-Siberian Orchestra:

I was gonna scrooge it up and say I hate them all but then SJB had to post a Colbert song, how can anyone hate that? So besides obviously funny ones from obviously funny people I hate them all.

THE GRINCH SONG - YOU'RE A MEAN ONE, MR.GRINCH 1966 - YouTube

I'm not a huge fan of Chrismas either, I just like seeing my older brother, whom I see maybe three times in a year.

I do love the Grinch, but only because he's such a xmas troll. I think I might have to use that avatar again since it suits me so well.

I, too, have been compared to the Grinch. I like him, he's a cool guy.

The Grinch is a troll but at least he's not evil like Scrooge. That being said Scrooge might be a better avatar for me.

Colbert won the Grammy for best comedy album for his Christmas Album:
