So. On a whim decided to get Bastion for steam. if you're a fan of a RPG with a really really good story, you should definately check this game out. The music and narrator are just awesome. No words to really describe it. you can try the demo on steam.

I heard it was short but people still think it's good. Does it have any replay value at all?

Well, I'd say it does have some replayability, though unless you consider trying out different weapons as "replay value", the only real replay value is in the two end-game choices, both of which branch into two distinct sub-choices. Personally I played it 4 times, as that's the amount of times you need to play through it to see all the choice variants. Thank god for New Game+. I haven't played it since then.

The replay value overall isin't that high. I personally have only gone through 2 times. but that's cause I have a million different things I play. But I would replay it just to hear the story again. This is it's only lacking point IMO. Otherwise it's a very unique game in how it does things.

So it's like most other indie/arcade games, cool but intentionally short. I'm really getting tired of that. I feel like I'm wasting my money when I buy games like this.

Yeah, but it's only 15 bucks. And if you think that's too much I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it's on sale on steam.

15 bucks does sound like too much if the game has pretty much no replay. I'm not trying to bash it for everyone though I just mean for me.

For me it's one of these games that I don't get tired of the story really. I could pick it up again if i ever want something interesting to do when I'm bored. There's a demo as well on Steam. And that narrator is cool as hell lol.
