Broken Sword Trilogy

The Trilogy is on sale on Steam right now, all three games for $3.39.

I bought them having never played them, but I am really liking the first one.

It's old school point and click style gameplay where you have to collect items to solve puzzles and keep the story moving.

I played the first one when it was new. At the time it was very impressive. I bet it holds up very well to the test of time. If you like point and click at all then I recommend it. Has kind of a da Vinci Code type story.

The version I have is the directors cut. I don't know if they revamped the graphics or not but it still looks pretty decent and the gameplay doesn't suffer and the story keeps me interested

A couple of the things you need to do are kind of weird and you may not really know what you need to do at a couple of points but eventually you'll figure it out

Well I beat 1 and 2.

The first game was much better than the second IMO. The second had almost no puzzles unlike the first and had a lot more pointless talking to random people.

The second one isn't bad, but I felt it wasn't as clear at times as to what you were supposed to do compared to the first one.
