After watching that video and laughing I read more about it and it's a lot less funny. Apparently Mayor Bloomberg screwed up big time and caused the worst snow response in NYs recent history. As a life long resident of this area I can say that I'm shocked at how bad they handled this pretty normal snowfall. I read that some streets are still untouched by plows three days later, that's inexcusable. Supposedly Bloomberg waited until after the snow to start digging out to save money or some other such nonsense. Also, I read that they cut the budget and got rid of around 400 employees who would be handling this kind of thing. Besides being a terrible idea it's also really pissed off a lot of people since they pay taxes for this kind of service.
Worst of all a baby died in NJ because of this fiasco. It took 9 hours for EMS to reach the mother. Yeah, 9 hours for an ambulance to help a woman giving birth. They only really made it there after a call saying the baby was crowning and the mother was bleeding. Unbelievable. Heads should roll over this.

One truly funny thing is people think Bloomberg would be a good president. Before all this I already disliked the guy for being a typical fat cat politician but now he's really shown his true colors. According to some reports hospitals and poorer areas weren't plowed asap but richer parts of Manhattan were. It pays to be rich huh?

1. Nearly all are episodic in nature. There's really no developing story arc. Anything that happens in one episode is so watered down because you know at the end deus ex machina will rule the day and the big, divine reset button will be pressed before the next episode.

2. Even if they are story driven, the shows carry on far too long. Three, five, seven seasons of thirty or so episodes each? There's no real pressure or time restraints to continually advance the plot in a meaningful way. Too much fluff and filler.

3. Repeats, repeats, repeats! Instead of trying to milk every last red cent out of a show why not let it end in a grand scale and move on to a new project?

Seriously, we got screwed as kids.

There's only a couple shows I could watch now but even then I would only be watching it for nostalgia. Usually the theme song is good enough though, takes a lot less time too.

In the current "cartoon" that I'm really enjoying, by episode nine 3/5 of the main cast have died. Only three episodes left for the series.

@Dudebro: That being said, even back when those shows were airing I knew what was wrong with them and why I didn't find them that interesting. I just wasn't aware that they could be and were being done differently elsewhere. Not that the knowledge would have helped me sans internet.

You should look at the amount of Dislikes this video has, it's insane.

I can't believe she's going to meet Beiber, I mean if I made a crappy rock song, I
doubt I'm going to be able to meet AC/DC. I have friends that play Beibers music
all the time and it drives me insane.

I always laugh when I see that rapper, it comes out of no where.

I have friends who love this song and play it all the time. Heck, it's starting to grow
on me, and I don't really like pop music. The ony reason this video is popular is
because of it being posted on the Tosh.0 website.

Yeah wow a little over 100k likes and almost 900k dislikes, at least that's pretty accurate. I feel bad for her but maybe this will teach her that her voice is nasally, autotuned and her lyrics are mind numbingly repetitive.

+1 for the bunny video SH. I didn't know who to feel bad for really. The kitty got crushed by that bunny(rabbits are stronger than they look) but the bunny just wanted his bed back. I think we can all relate with that.
