I just couldn't get into ShadowGate. I know it must be a great game, but I just couldn't play it for long.

I liked Shadowgate as a kid but now it's just so linear and brutal. I doubt many people would be play it now and not use a walkthrough.

I voted for Battletoads because to me it's the most iconic of the bunch.

The Battletoads were just piggybacking on the Turtle's success. I vote TMNT III.

I vote Shadowgate because as a kid it took me forever to finally figure out how to beat it. I felt so proud when I finally figured it out without anyone's help

Now I can run through it in about 20 minutes because I know exactly what to do

Seriously, it's like they botched the bosses from it and then made TMNT 4 with a time storyline.. =/

This has to be my #2 fave NES game with DD2 being my fave.

@Tails- I've only played a bit. I kind of suck at TMNT games :p Battletoads is just a bit more iconic for me and overall I think it's a bit better game.

Both are great games though, don't get me wrong :p Plus, I felt TMNT would get more votes anyway, so I voted for Battletoads to at least give it more of a chance

set your lives to 6 and set on easy and go to town. NOT a game to pass up. It's soundtrack is great too.

play in full so the ship level works.

down and attack does a slip move that kills the foot in one hit. hitting both attack and jump does a special move that takes one bar. Great for bosses like rocksteady.
