The N64 had a good game lineup, but a crappy controller. Listen here, Nintendo: Not a being able to press all the buttons is a no-no.

Ugh. I hated Glover. And Hey You Pikachu sounds like one of the worst concepts ever. However, even with my dislike of the controller, the N64 had tons of great games like Ogre Battle 64, Mario 64, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Super Smash Bros., both Zeldas, F-Zero X, I could go on and on.

I hated Perfect Dark. Never saw what the big deal was, hated the weapons, story line, game play, everything about it.

I prefer the N64 controller over the giant xbox controllers.

Imma kick you.
Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2, Super Smash Bros., Pokemon Snap, Banjo Tooie, Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Turok 1, 2, and 3, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, Duke Nukem 64(although this one is a port), Resident Evil 2, Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Rogue Squadron, and some other games I can't think of.
Also, I agree with Hobbes, Perfect Dark is pretty crappy.

orcarina of time was basically a LTTP extended version.
Pokemon Stadium was just battling.. sucked though.
Majora's mask was stupid.
SSB was good
Pokemon snap, that was just as bad as Pokemon Ranger.
SM64 eh it was alright not that good.
Donkey Kong 64 caused Donkey to go into bongaling drums.. =/
Turok was uninteresting
same with Duke Nukem
Resident Evil 2 was very lame.
mario kart got too repetitive
Rouge squdron i didnt play.

Yeah I miss the good old Nintendo 64 games as well. I loved Paper Mario, Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong 64, Zelda Ocarina Of Time, and many more. Now you can get these games and more for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console.

Yeah, Donkey Kong 64 was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was that there were so many collectibles in that game. At that time I was used to the Donkey Kong Country games so I was used to that kind of linear gameplay. Well anyway, N64 was the first system that was actually my system and not my parents or family's. Super Mario 64 is still one of my favorite games and so is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I thought the controller was okay but after playing newer systems like the Wii or Gamecube, it just feels kind of weird. It's a fun system to play and I find myself always going back to play it.

Haha. I liked South Park fine when you got 4 people playing, but it's hardly a triumphant acievement in video game engineering ;).

Yeah was such a fun multiplayer game. Although playing as one of the adults was unbalanced since you're such a huge target.

though i was about 5, so i guess i really couldn't evaluate properly
TrakMastaTom

Yeah, must've been a Game Gear, which was a sweet handheld that I also owned at one time. Or it could've been a Sega Nomad if it played Genesis games.
And they do make portable sonic games still. I have Sonic Rush for DS, and it is great.

You know, we do have the Game Gear here.
Nomad is just a portable Genesis. Game Gear is pretty much but not exactly a portable SMS.

I didn't even know that sega had another handheld system besides the game gear. I really didn't like it the sonic game I played on my cousin's game gear a long time ago, I remember the lit screen would always flash when I ran fast or something and it gave me a headache.

Same here.
Interesting to know, i never saw one. did they do bad?
Nomad required too many batteries and was bulky and heavy.

While Nomad is a battery monster that's why I have rechargables. The main problem I have with my Nomad is its too inconvienant to carry more than 1 or 2 carts with you.

I miss the old croc game for the PS1. I used to get a glitch type thing in it. in one level, you could kep getting two lifes, and those little furry guys you had to collect. if you die, they all come back and you keep getting them. after you get 100 of the furry guys, it starts counting bye letters, then pieces of a brick wall.
