I tried Smoke on the Water, but it doesn't have the tune.
But Redemption Song worked perfectly.
You should try it.

It is a really cool google thingy but I'm no good at music composition. I'll just get annoyed. But I'll pass it on to people who will enjoy it.

Hmm that's weird. Do the other google interactive logos work for you? My wife couldn't see it at her work but they block stuff like that, your home PC shouldn't unless you have something set strict or something.

I have the guitar strings show up, and I can play my own little riffs, but no song plays automatically.

I wouldnt know where to begin. I'm assuming the button that turns red is record, but it doesnt seem to do anything.
Dudebro

Yeah it's the button with the red circle that records. I dunno what's wrong but it's something blocking whatever program is doing the interaction.

No I don't have that button appear, the button I meant looks like a keyboard, and it turns red when you click it. It might be one of those things that is restricted to the US.

Here:
Google (http://www.google.com/webhp?tune=IAYFhhFgLIGcMA**)
Left of the recording button should be a white bar, click it to play the music.

Aren't you from Texas Kong? The guy is from New York.
I'm surprised no one guessed my song yet.
I've tried doing the solo of Lucky Man, but it's hard to play by ear:
