This month has already started bad.
1. Laptop is a inch from death
2. Router goes bad - keep on being kicked on and off.
3. My mom's sensors in her car goes bad - she refuses to get it fixed or let me pay to fix it.
4. No matter where I turn I see nothing but issues. may it be online or RL.
5. I accidentally erase my Link Awakening's save - no way to get it back.
6. Issues with a friend wanting to horse around to the point I am very angry.
What else will happen? I'm just about fed up with it and ready to explode. i go into my vacation thinking it will be good. (3 weeks) Come out with looking like no possible way of going to work, my hobby is nothing but stress, can't enjoy a single game without screwing it up. I just needed to rant, but my god do I hate this. I mean what else can possibly happen????
Ugh.

Sorry to hear you are having such a rough go right now Tails! I think we all have periods of times like that where nothing seems to go right. I'm sure things will turn around for you.

The worst thing you can do is think negative. The more you think negatively, the more negative stuff will happen. If you stay positive, chances are that more positive things will result from that. Like Elrod said, we all have stretches where nothing seems to go right. Trust me though, staying positive is the best thing you can do. If it gets any worse, take a couple days to yourself to just relax. Lay down and watch some TV or play some video games :p

You're in the clear now Tails, Magician Murphy has had his fun with you.

If that is what you concider "bad" then concider your self lucky.

@SC: I know, but it sure has ways of making me mad. :p
Point still stands June sure isn't looking too hot. :(
3. My mom's sensors in her car goes bad - she refuses to get it fixed or let me pay to fix it.You mean the check engine light? You can go to any place like Autozone and they have a computer they can plug into your car that tells you why the light is on for free.

Sorry all that happens. But at least someone(me) knows how you feel when erasing a file on a game. I erased B&K and Pacman on the gamecube. We all have bad days. I guess for you it has been a couple of days but it will end.

Nah, something to do with ignition sensor and crank sensor.

Meanwhile, in Cambodia, some kid stepped on a landmine a blew his leg off. In China, a newborn was euthanized as it was being born because its parents already had a child. In Alabama, families are still clearing the debris from where their house used to be.

And in the US some rich kid didn't get the yacht he wanted. It's all relative. Tails may not be getting his leg blown off but he's still having a more legit bad day than the rich kid.

I ranked you back up to neutral Jim.
I know what you're getting at, and it's no offense to you Tails or your situation but yeah, I'm known to express discontent with my situation many times even though I have it better than the people of Japan do right now, by example.
Like DB said it's all relative.
Who was it that said:
'There are only personal Apocalypses ...'
I think it was a character from a movie but can't remember who or which one.

@JG the quote came from the game Max Payne, as it was said by Max Payne himself

If the worst thing that happened to you in a day is that you lost a save state for a Gameboy game, then you need to stop having the pity party for yourself.
Tailsy, it is too bad that your day wasn't going so hot, but there are tons of people that wish they had those problems.

Wow I didn't expect people to rate jim down over that comment. I rated you back up but you're still at -2. Guess you struck a nerve.

There's not a whole lot wrong with Tails complaining, but the fact that he made his own topic makes this seem very melodramatic. If he had posted in the ranting thread we probably never would have had this issue.

@DB, thanks for the effort.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but rate downs never hurt me.
@DN, spot on and that thought had crossed my mind as well.

Actually all of those happened within 4 days with the car and GB issue same day. :p
I realize that and I forgot about the ranting thread.

C'mon guys, enough with the rate - downs. {he says, knowing someone will likely rate this post down for having said that}
I can see people rating me down because of my controversial nature and the outrageous things I say sometimes but why is there so much disagreement over comparative suffering?
+1 for SFF; I can't believe I didn't remember it was Max Payne who said that - it's one of my favorite games on the PS2.
my hobby is nothing but stress?

Gaming, such as losing the save file, or coming onto websites only to see issues.
I think a bad day is the same thing as disappointment. Sure a third of the world is thankful just for a glass of clean water but if you live in America it is kind of hard to get ecstatic every single time you turn on a faucet.

Just for fun, here's my list current problems:
1. plans to move back home to be with our families (and keep our jobs) are crushed due to taxes
2. Air Canada screwing us out of about $1000 due to their "policy"
3. struggling at work to pick up the show style of the new show I'm working on, it's effecting my self esteem aswell as my paycheck
4. car is on last legs and the trunk won't close anymore
5. 3ds has a dead pixel
6. internet is limited to about 1 meg down
I could go on with a ton of little things, point is Tails, these kinds of things are going to become more and more prevelant as you get older, I suggest you get used to it.

3DS has a dead pixel? Can't you send it in for a replacement? I understand it's one pixel but hell it's a $250 gaming system.

I thought about it, but I'm not sure if it's a valid reason. Also, me and my machine are pretty tight at this point.

Meh, it doesnt bother me too much.
@DB I looked up 3ds dead pixels and found a conversation where someone said that a black pixel is dead, and a permanently colored pixel is a pretty easy fix, you might want to look into it.
