When you want a movie with awesome special effects, acting, humor, action, and awesome story, Marvel Studios doesn't dissapoint except for their sequels. (*cough* Iron Man 2 *cough*) Thor leads his friends and his brother, Loki, to Jotunheim, realm of the ice giants. There they are almost killed if Odin hadn't saved them. Once back on Asguard, Odin banishes Thor to Earth. Thor meets up with a kind scientist and Thor infiltrates a SHIELD reaserch facility that surrounds Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. After beating a bunch of SHIELD goons, Thor reaches Mjolnir only to discover he's no longer worthy to use it. While Thor is trying to be worthy to wield Mjolnir again, Odin reveals Loki's past. This angers Loki, so he creates an ever-changing plan which ends with Loki using the power of the rainbow bridge, Bifrost, to destroy Jotenheim!

Sorry but you're being way too generous about this movie. It is a good action movie and the special effects were good but humor and an awesome story, not so much. The humor was predictable and corny, as was the romance subplot. The rest of the story was butchered from the original comic book version.
On your scale I'd give the movie a 75/100. Hopefully the sequel is better.

You can't deny that this movie would have absolutely bombed if the directing wasn't as good as it was. It's hard to work with a story like this and make it anything but pure corn.
Also, Protoman, you really need to say more about what you thought of the movie, in order to give the reader more of an idea of why they should see the movie.

Sorry if I came off harsh but I wanted to give some counter points to his glowing review. I gave it 75 because I still think it's a good super hero movie. But perfect it is not and no one should go into it thinking the story is anything special.
I really liked the special effects, especially in Asgard. I saw it in 3D though so the visuals were a lot more impressive.
