Hrmm, it seems I am having the same problem as the other fellow that you showed Kong. And yes I am using JTK.

JoyToKey tells you to install an incorrect version of DirectX. Steam can do the same thing. You should really only be downloading DirectX from Windows Update. Anything else is likely to be out of date and wrong.

Did you recently try to install DirectX? If so then you probably have the wrong version and just uninstalling it should fix it.

Another possible cause would be the wrong video card driver.

These instructions will be similar for all versions of Windows but specifically they are for Windows 7. If you have a different version let me know.

Go to Control Panel and select Programs and Features.
Uninstall anything named DirectX or Microsoft DirectX.
Reboot.
Then go to Control Panel and select Windows Update.
Click Check for Updates.
Install Updates.
That should give you the correct version of DirectX and hopefully update your video driver.
You might need to reboot again.
Try a game.

If it works, let us know.

If it doesn't work then read the questions here http://retrouprising.com/support/retro-uprising-support/read-before-asking-support/t2678/ and answer 1,2,3 and 6.

I was unable to find anything related to the DirectX in my Programs and Features
To answer the questions:
1. No
2. Win 7
3. I was using Internet Explorer 8 when the Problem first occured but when I switched to Firefox 4 the problem persisted.
6. I have been able to play the games before.
