Sega CD...

Is there any chance of Sega CD games ever showing up? I miss the old Eternal Champions CD (hated the Genesis version, but the CD one rocked).

That depends. How long do you have to wait. Size-wise sure it fits. Time-wise, do you really want to wait over 10 minutes (I think that's how long it would take) for a game to load. I don't.

I'm gonna have to agree with oasis, to some people it wouldn't matter how long it took to load. But yeah I can't see it being added for that reason. Most people wouldn't care enough to wait and it's really not a hugely popular system anyways. Guess I'm lucky since I can borrow a Sega Cd from a friend if I wanna play it. ;D

Seriously, I wouldn't wait ten minutes for ANYTHING to load. I just don't have the patience for that.

The games are roughly 650 megs each, so you would have to wait more than 10 minutes. A programmer could probably add some compression to the cds to make them much smaller but the whole process would be very difficult to program and very expensive host and slow and clunky to play and load and all for just the handful of mediocre games that the Sega CD has to offer.
