Soldier Blade (T-16) freezing

Today I tried play Soldier Blade 3 times (ArcadeOX score mode), and 3 times game froze.
Always in the same place:

It's in the first stage, shortly after the first sub-boss.

It happens to me aswell. It appears that this wasn't always the case. I'm sure Kong will take care of this when we swings by.

A pity if he become determined to remove the game. It seems to be the best of Soldier's games.

I have this exact problem and didn't think it warranted making a whole new thread, but apologies for the necro. From that screenshot, I can see that the blue weapon was used, which was the same one I was using when it crashed. I'll try the others and see if that makes a difference.

EDIT: Weapon doesn't matter. What a shame, this game is one of the best shooters :(
