View Full Version : Can't play NES game in any arcadeox mode

I can't play any NES game in any arcadeox mode it tells me Configuration file load error! Default settings will be used!. I can hear the game music I just can't see the game. I think something that arcadeox uses got deleted cause my arcadeox folder on my computer has vanished as well. I tried to reset my arcadeox folder but that did not help. I can play SNES, Sega, and coinop games all fine I just can't play NES games. I'm using Windows 7 as my OS and my browser is Internet Explorer 9. I am not interested in using team viewer

Is there anyway to unistall arcadeox and then reinstall it maybe that will help?

I got Arcadeox score mode to work but Arcadeox full mode still giving the same message as before

Sorry you're having these problems. So now AOX works in score mode for every system you've tried?

Yes I tried I just can't get NES ArcadeOx Full Mode to Work. On a side note I found my Arcadeox Folder

Well at least score mode is working for you. I wish I knew how to fix full mode but for now maybe just wait to mess with anything else until someone more knowledgeable comes along.

I don't really see your situation as a problem since score mode is the only mode I play in, but it is odd that Full Mode is not working while Score Mode is...

Good. Try this.

In your arcadeox folder, go into the 'nes2' folder. Then inside that folder, delete nestopia.xml. That should reset everything for NES full mode, and it won't delete your saves.

Thanks Seahawk I knew I could count on you :). Any idea why it would not work in the first place.
