I have only 1 plugin for an ethernet cord, and I need 2 plugins. Is there any adapter out there that will give me 2 plugins?

Yes. If you have a desktop then you can use any network card. If you have a laptop get a USB network card. Obviously make sure it isn't a wireless network card.

Why do you need two?

Something like this
Newegg.com - TRENDnet TU-ET100C 10/ 20/ 100/ 200Mbps USB to Ethernet Adapter 1 x RJ45 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156133&cm_re=usb_network_card-_-33-156-133-_-Product)

Because I want my PS3 and my desktop to both be hooked up.

Also, I have never seen something like that. Where do they sell it?

You want a router, hub or switch to do that. I would get one from a thrift store.
