Plot
A group of couples stops for a gas fill-up when they happen upon Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen. Initially intrigued to hear about Dr. Satan, the unsuspecting kids soon become a sick family's source of torturous and murderous fun.


Personal Thoughts
The prequel to "The Devils Rejects" , also directed by Rob Zombie, House of 1,000 Corpses is gory with a twist of hot and sexy at the same time (if you're into that sort of thing ;) ) that will make you jump and squirm in your seat for more than one reason. It starts off with some dark comedy and suddenly amps up the dark, twisted horror as you get sucked into a gory world of violence and torture. If you're into camp slashers and psychopathic serial killers, then you'll love House of 1,000 Corpses.

I saw this movie in the theaters. Totally campy B movie quality to it. It was fun.

Sweet! I would have loved to have seen it in at the theater. I saw it at a friend's house while smoking on the peace pipe. I enjoyed it very much. Have you seen "Devil's Rejects"?

Nah, I think HO1000C came out when I was in college. Such movies really don't interest me anymore. If it was on tv, I might watch, but I'm not going out of my way to see it.

I still can't decide who's creepier, Otis or Captain Spaulding.

Haven't seen Devil's Rejects yet but I saw AVGN's review of it, and it looks good too.

I loved Captain Spaulding. He is a really memorable character isn't he? Oh and if you liked this one JoeGrow, then you should watch Devil's Rejects. It's picks up where Ho1KC left off.

First one was good but I thought the second one seemed like it tried too hard. Maybe it's because the first one upped the expectations, dunno. Either way Capt Spalding is a cool badguy.
