One night my Mom turned my TV to watch wrestling, I was too lazy to change it and saw this on. Needless to say I've been hooked on Syfy since.

It's fake ass bullshit and I can't believe anyone likes it. The show consists of people going "DID YOU HEAR THAT!~?!?" or "DID YOU SEE THAT?!?!" and the always funny "I FELT SOMETHING!!!!!".

I hate it and I wish it would get canceled. Their tagline is something like "some people believe in ghosts, these guys believe in truth/proof." That makes me wanna punch them in the face, it's such a bold faced lie.

I think it's a fun show and if fake no more fake than any other reality show.

What I frequently find amusing is that a lot of the people I know who rag on the supernatural and other phenomenon are the same ones who are like, "Did you see 'Survivor' or 'American Idol' last week?" (Or whatever the latest fake network 'reality' show is at the time.) I always want to reply with "...And you think the supernatural shows are fake?" :o:lol:

If you want a giant dose of 'fake' and 'lies' just tune in to any of the major networks and watch the evening news.

I think Ghost Hunters is at least an interesting show, which is more than I can say for most of (and I use the following term loosely) 'reality TV'.

You saw an actual ghost in front of you? I find that very hard to believe. Either way it doesn't mean jack when talking about that show, it's incredibly fake. They irritate me because of the stupid looks they have in the promos, like it's all serious and dramatic. It's a steaming pile of shit.

I don't mind fake stuff, when it's admitting it's fake for entertainment. I hate fake when they try to pass it off as legit and give people false hope. The guys on Ghosthunters are just as bad as John Edwards(the fake medium) and other charlatans.
