Got to go with elrod and my main reason for going with him is he signed up in june 10th and from then to December 31st he jumped all the way upto the 4th best gamer on the website just imagine if he signedup early

Yeah I have to agree, going from nothing to most trophies (he had the no.1 spot briefly) in such a short period is amazing.

I voted for Seahawk. There are a lot of really great gamers on RU, and no offense to anyone, but in my mind best overall gamer for 2010 should count in several areas. As much as I like competing for trophies, the number of scores isn't the only factor, as that generally goes to the individuals with the most free time. Also, performance in team contests, individual contests, games mastered, and the quality of the scores set should be considered. It's a tough call, but I think Seahawk shined in all of those areas in 2010. Hawk set some amazingly epic scores and befitted himself strongly in everything he was involved in in 2010.

Having said that, props to Jojo and Elrod as well. You were both epic in 2010 too. :D

They're all winners. They all have scores that make you not even bother contesting because you know the hours it will take to even put yourself in a position of being able to top them. It was a very hard choice.

I agree. It was a very hard choice. I tried to weigh things up overall, but the guys all had a strong year.

I can only imagine what amazing performances we will see in this year not only from us in this category but many other great gamers who are on this site. (And coming to this site too.)

It was a tough choice. All of the guys in this category had a really good year in 2010.

In the end I went with WB for several reasons: The fact that he has obtained and held the top trophy count, has mastered more games than any other player on the site, his huge contributions during all of the team contests of 2010, epic victories in games like 1945k III, the mathematical winner of the Defender of the Crown contest (by a large margin, even though official results have still not been posted) and he remains the number one player on the leaderboard.

Hard to argue with those kinds of statistics. :)
