I think because of this you'll have better luck, especially if you live in/near a major city or your at a populated mall or gathering.

With SF43DE, there is single pack play, and then the trailer makes it seem like you can play another person, even if the person with the cart is gone.

I meant single pak multiplayer, then the person without the game pack can play someone who also doesnt have the game pack, like kinda passing the game along.

There's two examples, and I think it goes to show that all companies are greedy at times.
Sometimes they give us roses, but others we get the fertilizer.

JG, how is making games greedy? My point was that the give you full games that arn't full of additional dlc, there latest systems all have a free web-browser included, free online play across all systems.. ect... ect...

My point is they jumped in with the International Olympic Committee, AKA an International wrecking ball for the poor neighborhoods of the World, and got the IOC's evil stench on their hands.
Ok so maybe it's a great game but given the greed - fest the IOC really is .. maybe if you were a Vancouverite you'd see.

I realize this is off topic and a political subject but I can't help but feel Nintendo was greedy by riding the Olympic wave, and to me their association with the evil of the IOC {or is it the NWO? - we'll see} has put an indelible mark on them.

Microsoft and Sony will add a price tag to anything they can.You're a little confused. Sure both companies charge for their services(exactly like Nintendo) but the game developers set DLC prices and decide when and what content gets made. Microsoft has almost nothing to do with it besides making it available on their servers and taking a cut. Blame modern gaming companies for the fleecing of the masses, not just the console companies.


Btw how about Nintendo keeping prices at full price years after the release date? Any major Mario game is still full price while third party games get marked down within months of release. Is that not greedy? Why not lower prices on Mario Kart and Brawl since they've been out since like release?

Face it, Nintendo just wants your money too. If you manage to get enjoyment out of the transaction than so be it. Just don't try to make it look like Nintendo is passing out free games and being benevolent, they aren't.

On some Wii Ware games you can get DLC for a few dolars.

Unfortunately Final Fantasy The After Years was plagued by the problem that almost the entire damn game is DLC.

I know they give you a warm feeling inside but they're still a soulless corporation doing whatever it takes to make a profit. You just happen to love their product.

You do realize that greed and good business are the same damn thing. You can't make money without making attempts to get as much as possible. So you really can't call Nintendo not greedy in terms of business.

It's my understanding that the term DLC applies to additional content. The core game may have been download only but that doesn't mean it's DLC in the way we all talk about it.
