Black Screen woes could affect millions on Windows 7, Vista and XP (http://www.prevx.com/blog/140/Black-Screen-woes-could-affect-millions-on-Windows--Vista-and-XP.html)
So when I started my comp it seemed all fine. It also had a BSOD and after searching the net I found this. Why is it doing it? From that it seems to be not only me, but a large chunk of Windows 7 users. This is what I tried:
Instead of logging off the computer I just shut it down. When turning it back on it gives an auto black screen instead of the sign in.
Logging off gives a black screen. Cannot undo it must turn off by the power supply.
When your computer goes to sleep it also black screens, I disabled that.
That post mentions that their patch can fix it. Is this true? Kong/Seahawk have you ever had exp with this? This is pissing me off big time. =/
