View Full Version : Ash is a bad Pokemon Trainer.

Who agrees? I mean he reminds me of Yellow (female in Pokemon adventures) in a way. Starter Pokemon was Technically Pikachu, caught by someone else. Can't catch for beans. All his Pokemon are pretty much given to him unlike his Manga counterpart. (Red caught all his) He never catches them to keep, he eventually releases them or leaves them with Oak. He never uses anything above a Pokeball, nor does he show interest in capturing them all. His battles are mostly flukes, like when the sprinklers went on vs Brock. He is shown to not have Pokemon who respect him (Charizard) which also shows he's a weak trainer. He has to kiss their toes to even have them like him.

He also wears horrible clothing. Have any of you seen the Black and White Arc Ash? It's by far the worse thing I've ever seen. Why is it that every arc he needs to leave all Pokemon except Pika behind and change to new clothes? I get new beginnings but that's ridiculous seeing Pika gets hella weaker. I'd assume if he was a good trainer and not a lucky one Pika would be the strongest ever, with literally no gym leaders better than him. Why can't he just catch em all instead of missing them all? Also why in sam hill does he always have the new region starters? Starters are for starting trainers, not him. Give him something good instead of Treeko who eventually becomes a resident of Oaks.

lol Ash is awful. I say all of his Pokemon should just leave him and join a good trainer :p He just wins by luck most of the time. Red > Ash

Because Electric attacks don't work on Ground types. Try doing that same exact thing in the games, you get the message "It Didn't affect enemy Rhydon."

I know for a fact on Pokemon Yellow Pikachu can if you beat Pokemon Stadium several times it becomes a surfing pikachu

Red's Pika can surf. Surfing Pikachu is VERY common now, even Surfing Pichu. You can get Surfing Pikachu and Flying Pikachu (Yellow's own Pikachu is named Chuchu and can fly with balloons) via yellow forest event. Also can get it in battle revolution.

LOL. Thats disgusting. ANd I agree. How dare they get rid of Brock. Pokemon basically said lets get rid of good people, change Ash's outfit for the third time, make Ash always win, and make new retarted peopl to go with Ash.

Guys, enough is already said about Ash, okay? Stop and consider that he does use strategy where it is called for. As for that win against Brock, consider it a lesson in the idea the creator never saw eye to eye with the show's fans
