Anybody want to help RU?

I have three things that need to be done and that you can help with. If you are interested, PM me or use the Contact Us link at the top of the page.

The three things that need to be done are:
1.) Help with adding new Genesis games. You will test Genesis games for bugs.
2.) Help with adding new video feature. Helps if you love TV.
3.) Help with adding images for each game on game menu that does not have a correct image.

#1 & 2 involve a lot of data entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_entry) and testing. Your reward is you get to see new stuff first. #3 is doing minor graphic work. You need to have a Photoshop type program and know how to use it - nothing to advanced though.

For all three of them you need to commit to several hours doing it. If you want to ever be a mod here, this is the first step.

Something else that I need help with is just testing some new hidden features and giving me feedback. This is easier and quicker than the others.

Update. If you want to test games for other systems (not just Genesis), you can do that now too. The games that volunteers test determine what game is added to the site next. So if you want to see your favorite game added to RU right away then volunteering to test it for bugs is the way to go. But you need to be willing to test more than just the one game you want added.

I'm sorry Kong, I wish I could because that would be incredibly fun, but I'm very busy with school and that's my first priority. I could help out a little bit during the weekends though with some sort of easier task like creating articles because I have a wide range of video game and media knowledge. Just show me how somehow and I can do that kind of work. Sorry for the inconvinience. Maybe during the summer. :(

For cheats codes, tips etc. click the discuss link next to each game and add them to the game's thread. If you want to write a more extensive article you can PM it to me. See the Article link in the main menu for example articles.

Some of the game images are zoomed in screen shots of the title screen - 128 X 59. Most are not. I would like to make them all like that. It would be great if you could go through and make images for the games that do not yet have the correct style.

i mean i cant because the computers are my moms and brothers so i couldnt but i will try to do as much as possible plus in a few months i will be getting a computer of my own
then i could definitley do it i'll be outta school and i will have free time on my hands
but if i could do as much as i could do like an hour or so i think i could do that still i just wann help also i cant do the other 2 only number 1 because idont know how to use photo shop and i cant do the videos and dont know how as well

I had a different idea in mind when I sent my ideas off to Nintendo, but my ideas did turn into SSBM.
And I sent character ideas to Capcom that turned out to be the bosses of MegaMan & Bass.
And I sent character ideas to Midway that turned into Navaro & Lei Mai from MK: Dark Allience.
