Games You Have Beaten Countless Times

I feel like this thread has been done, but I can't find it. I want to discuss games that are so good you have beat then a ton.

I bring this up because I have been playing through Psychonauts lately. It's one of my favorite games ever, and I have beat it 1-3 times every year since it came out. It never gets old to me. The writing is hilarious, the story is great, characters are awesome and the game play is loads of fun.

A couple I can think of off hand would include Star Wars (NES), Battletoads (NES), the King's Quest/Space Quest games (PC), Ninja Gaiden (NES), Defender of the Crown (Amiga). I'll try to think of some more and add them.

Paper Mario, I've beaten that game a whole lot. I beat Call of Duty 2 and 3 a bunch of times. Super Mario 64 I've beaten alot of times too.

X-Men and X-Men 2 for Sega Genesis,

and on the more recent front, soulcalibur 2 and fire emblem, both path of radiance and radiant dawn. oh, and medal of honor: rising sun

The Splinter Cell series. Every time a new sequel comes out I always have to go replay the whole series again before playing the new one.

That's a good one for sure. I never get tired of SMB or SMB 3. SMB 2 gets old to me though. Not the Japanese (true) version, but the NTSC one does.

I've gotten close on SMB1 but never done it. I've beaten SMB2 in less than an hour, and SMB3 i've beaten alot

Street Fighter
Mortal Kombat
The SMS maze game.
If you count them then, Chess, Reversi, Chinese Checkers and other similar board game conversions and some sports games like Madden and Tecmo Bowl.

There are several other games that I probably owned and beat several times but were not good enough to stand out in my mind. That's how Ghostbusters got on the list, I just happened to remember it for some reason.

I think Ghost House and Kid Chameleon were the only games I owned and never could beat. I tried a lot too.

I've never even tried to beat a Mario or Sonic game.

Kong, that reminds me... Flashback: The Quest for Identity is another one I played over and over on Sega CD. I loved the music and the game.

There aren't too many I've beaten countless times. I'd usually rent a game for the weekend, beat it then never rent it again. Most games don't interest me enough to play through them more than a few times, and usually not more than one time.

I beat every mode on Brawl countless times, including Subspace Emissary.

I use to play the heck out of Xenogears. I beat it countless times just so I could listen to the end theme song. One of my favorites.

I like to play the broken sword series over again, though not too soon after.

As a kid I completed Sonic 2 at least once a day, I never seemed to get bored with it.
I completed Super Mario world a good few times.

Also Castle of illusion, World of illusion, streets of rage, and a few others that hasnt come to mind.
