I loved it, great idea for a commercial.

So the game is now free to play with an item store and premium features(after level50 I hear). I really wanna try it out but my current PC won't run it. I'll be on it one way or another soon though. Hopefully one of you guys is tempted and you can give me a preview of what to expect.

It sounds like standard mmorpg stuff, fight get exp and group up. They have an interesting PVP where you can either be a monster/evil dude or a hero. From the sound of it you can level your monster and even earn titles and points for more advanced stuff.
Besides all that it takes place in Middle Earth and it's set during The Hobbit and LOTR. They have Human, Hobbit, Elf and of course Dwarves-

I want to play this game, but I don;t really have the time, and it takes up too much space on my computer. The family laptop is like 75% broken and my comp isnt much better. Im on my dad's comp right now but he doesnt like me to download anything on his comp.

So I finally tried this game and it's pretty good. So far I've been stuck in the dreary starter area of the dwarves but it's all good. I already met up with the dwarves from The Hobbit(and Gandalf in the middle)-

It obvious that you don't know anything about dwarves. It may seem strange to us but who are we too judge them for utilizing natures sheath? This way he has his hands free and it protects him from ambushes.

In all seriousness you guys are really reaching for that. I've seen actual graphical issues that look like stuff going through bodies, this isn't even close. To me it's obviously equal with the shield but I also have the benefit of seeing it first hand in game.

Im a big fan of LOTR also. I love the movies and the books are great too. I finally have lots of time on my hands and my computer is acting all stupid :p Hopefully, I can find a solution and fix this darn thing.

If you guys love the LOTR stuff then this game is for you. There are tons of quests and you get a sense of being part of the main story, but in the background.

I just finished up my starter area and a cutscene told me Frodo and Sam had left the shire. Now I have to go meet up with Strider in Bree, I wonder if he'll be there?

I know it seems bad but if you started over on a new server it would take much less time since you already know the quests.

It's the first MMO I've ever played for more than 10 minutes. So do the different servers have the same quests?

Yes, for MMO's, the quests are the same in every server but the people you can interact with are strictly to each server. You can only talk to someone on the same server you are on.

Yeah ChrisP is right, each server is the same but with different people. They do this for several reasons but I think the main reason in a mmorpg is to avoid overcrowding.

@TMT- it's not as bad as it sounds. I had to start over and I was already level 10. It wasn't that fun but it was easy to burn through the quests since I did them so recently.

I don't really want to make another character so I can play the Final Fantasy victory theme on a flute whenever I kill something. I'd rather find a way to teach the ability to play to the warrior I have.

I don't know about the music in game but I don't think you can teach it. If you want you could ask people in the advice chat channel, see what they know.

You can get an instrument (you character has to know how to play it) and play in a do-re-me format. If you can find them (or have a really good talent to write them) you can get text documents that are formated for programmed play for your character.

For example, if I went and downloaded the .abc format file for the Back To The Future Theme, then type in /play backtothefuture(or just whatever I name the file), I will begin to play somebody's arangement of the Back To The Future Theme automatically.

However, if you don't want to do that, you can just learn to play a short little thing. I pretty much memorized the FF victory theme by heart and am proud of it. 666654656.(obvious rhythm)

So after running east a lot I finally met up with DN(also known as Alpharn). We had a grand old time acting like fools, thankfully no one was around to see us. Well, there was an unfortunate cow but that's a story for another time.
