please help.. controls problem.

streets of rage 3 genesis is the game that i'm having problems with it works great in Arcadeoxfullmode , i already configired my control to my keyboard and didnt have to configure it there i went to scoremode looking to set a cool score if i could and its got my buttons all mixed up i tried several diffrent times with the same results i even deleted arcadeox reinstalled it still didnt work also i unplugged my controllers from the computer and that didnt work reconfigged it several times , it works in the full mode just not in the score mode. haven't tried java because it said thats not allowed for setting scores...

any helpful ideals about how to fix this issue??

i also tried teenage muntant ninja turtles for nes with the Same Results.. it automatically configs the top right and bottom right button and i dont got no say over which buttons i want to use it just picks them for me.

by the way : i tested my controller and know it works with my keyboard inputs i've played several other games from diffrent sites & also tested it in the notepad to see if the correct letter came up when i typed the correct button and it does.

Your using a controller that sends keyboard inputs? Are you using a program such as Xpader or JoyToKey to do that?

If you answered yes to one of those questions then
try plugging your controller in after you start the game
or
try disabling that feature so the controller acts as a normal controller and have it plugged in before you load the game.

Also, you press Tab to access the menu and then select Input (this system) to change controls in Score Mode.

wont work just tried it , java score mode works as well just not the arcade ox score mode. and yes im using joytokey

Try disabling JoyToKey and make sure the controller is plugged in before you load the game. AOX Score Mode can recognize the game controller and I think JoyToKey is causing interference.

ok i tried without joy to key and the game won't pick up my controller at all any suggestions?

What type of controller are you using?
Go to "Control Panel" and select "Game Controllers".
Is yours listed there?
If yes select "properties" for it and make sure that it is recognizing your button presses.

If you are using a Ps3 controller, it won't work if its the kind that came with the system

A generic wired PS3 controller should work with no problem.

I'm using Windows 7 as my OS and my browser is Internet Explorer 9. I am not interested in using team viewer. Here is the link to the game I am having trouble with

Plug your controller in before clicking the game link.
If that doesn't work then after the game loads press Tab on keyboard and configure the controls.
You find the control you want in the Tab menu and press enter. After you press enter you press the button you want assign on the controller.
