I was playing Punch Out, and was wondering if I have to beat it from beggining to end? It's a lot of fun.

Of course you'd have to beat it from beginning to end.

Ok. I was not sure because I quit because after I lost, so I didn't know if there is a continue option. And if there is are you allowed to use it?

Yeah you can continue after a defeat. Each loss will go on your stats as a match lost until you beat the game.

Are you asking for the specific qualification of mastering it?

I want to play Punch Out, but Glass Joe said I better stay off his turf or else.
Beware the wrath of Joe - he's a mean one!

I figure this is a good a place as any to post this since it's not worthy of it's own topic.

Has anyone on the site have the speed punches mastered in punch-out!!? Ya know your just boxing along, da dada dada, then all the sudden your punches become rapid fire, like your just timing your punches perfectly down to the milisecond? I don't have it mastered and to this day I'm not even sure if it's something that can be mastered. Anyone know the lowdown?

I still get stuck at Mr. Sandman almost every time, it's rather irritating.

I've never beaten Tyson/Mr Dream. I've been playing this game on and off since it was released and I've never completed it. I fear any chance I had is long gone now that I'm old and stuff. Slower reflexes ftl. :(

Don't give up. It's not about age it's about heart. You just need to find the Eye of the Tiger as demonstrated in this helpful montage:

YouTube - Survivor - Eye of the Tiger (Rocky and Apollo Training)

Yeah Punch-Out is pretty hard. I got stuck at the first guy in the major circuit. I probably could've beaten him but I got bored and quit lol.

@WB- Awesome montage video, Rocky is awesome :victory: and Eye of the Tiger is a pretty good song!

.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I think that just happens in certain fights and rounds.

Well I lost the first time, but I was winning the second time, but I quit. I got bored like I said before. Also, I'm pretty bad at Punch-Out :P

Wow, and I thought my inability to defeat Mr. Sandman was pretty sad.
Have you ever heard of the punching loop against Don Flamenco? All you do is hit him in the face with a left, then a right, then a left, then a right, over and over and over again once you stun him, it isn't difficult to do, and I never even needed to do it.

No, it was actually my first time against him. I've never played Punch-Out except a few times but I just tried it out those few times.

It's alright, you can't be good at everything, at least it is a fun game.

Yeah, I really had no idea what I was doing against each opponent.
