A Kirby game made for the Nintendo Satellaview Super Famicom add-on. The game played somewhat like a combination of baseball and pinball, somewhat like a traditional arcade baseball games, but instead played with Kirby. Swing at pitches of varying speeds and angles to drive them into the outfield and hopefully land it inside one of the holes in the field for a base hit, a double, a triple, or a home run! Once the ball is in play, you can use the bat to continue whacking it down the field until you've landed either in a base hole or in an out/foul slot. Two players can also play each other, one pitching and the other hitting.

Kirby Super Star plays like a standard 16-bit era platforming video game, in which Kirby, the main character, can go left, right, up and down on a two dimensional plane. Throughout each level, Kirby must avoid touching environmental hazards and a variety of enemies, who mostly have their own attacks. Kirby has a health meter, and when this is depleted, Kirby loses one life and returns to a save point. If he loses all of his lives, the game ends.

Kirby Super Star allows Kirby to copy the abilities of his enemies, and then perform a wide range of attacks using these abilities. Kirby wears different hats and changes color according to the ability he is using.

One of the unique features of this Kirby game is the addition of a "helper". The helper is an enemy-turned-friend who follows Kirby around and helps fight enemies. A second player can use an additional controller to control the helper, making a solo experience into a two-player adventure. The helper also sometimes has abilities that Kirby does not when taken control of by a second player. For instance, if Kirby got a Wheel Kirby power and turned it into a helper, Kirby could ride on the helper. While Kirby would die after falling into a pit, a helper character had no such vulnerability. Most of the mini-games have two-player modes as well.

Kirby Super Star is one of the three international Super Nintendo games (outside Japan) that uses the SA-1 chip. The other two are Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Kirby's Dream Land 3.

It's also known as "Kirby's Fun Pak" in Europe and also as "Hoshi no Kirby Super Deluxe" in Nippon.

Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble, known in Japan as Korokoro Kirby, is an action puzzle video game.

PLOT:
The game begins with Kirby napping on a cloud, when he is awakened as a Waddle Dee walks by, carrying a round pinball-like bumper. He then sees King Dedede, carrying a long bumper. Suspicious of the King's intentions, Kirby hops on a warp star and follows him, determined to find out what he is up to. Soon, Kirby discovers that Dream Land has lost its stars and sets off to get them back.

Gameplay:
Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble uses a series of accelerometers to control Kirby. The goal of the game is to guide Kirby to the level's goal within the allotted time by physically tilting the Game Boy in the direction in which the player wishes to move him. The game registers a "pop" action when the player quickly jerks the Game Boy in the vertical direction; doing so will jerk Kirby into the air. The game revolves around the collection of the numerous stars strewn about the levels. To beat the game entirely, one must collect each level's secret star.

One of a virtual avalanche of Tetris-inspired puzzlers, Kirby's Avalanche has players maneuvering pairs of Blobs that fall from the top of the playfield, lining them up in usergroup of four or more in order to vanquish them from the screen. Boulders, which are destroyed when adjacent to an exploding Blob, clutter the playfield as well, appearing on one side of the split screen when the other player (you, a friend, or the computer) eliminates a large group of Blobs with a single pair. By general standards, Kirby's Avalanche is not at all bad. It has the typically cute Nintendo-style characters and music, plenty of challenge, solid controls, and spot-on gameplay. However, it's not as elegantly streamlined as Tetris or as exciting as Tetris Attack, and is not nearly as addicting.

Nintendo's first stab at miniature golf, Kirby's Dream Course is a highly original game that incorporates elements of billiards, action, and platforming. Kirby is the ball, and each of the 64 holes (spread over eight courses) is hidden and must be found by running into enemies. Certain enemies will release a power (such as bouncing or a backspin maneuver) to Kirby when hit. Lining up some of the harder shots and shooting for lower and lower scores requires skill and strategic thinking as players set spin, aim, power, and other factors throughout the tricky, geometrically intimidating courses. Fans of Kirby's Adventure and other Kirby games (primarily of the platform variety) will enjoy the cute, familiar characters and music, while hardcore gamers will appreciate the surprisingly high level of challenge.

In the first two games in this series, Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Dream Land 2, everyone's favorite pink puff spent his time in the handheld world of the Game Boy. Now Kirby's ready for the big time as Kirby's Dream Land 3 hits televisions everywhere via the 16-bit Super NES. Once again, Kirby must save planet PopStar, but this time he's brought along some friends.

A menacing cloud of Dark Matter surrounds PopStar, compelling its inhabitants to turn evil. Using his ability to suck enemies in and spit them back out at other enemies, Kirby must walk, dash, duck, drop, jump, fly and fight his way through five stages containing six levels each. If Kirby swallows an enemy, he can take on its special abilities. For example, Rocky will turn him to stone and KeKe gives him a broom for sweeping enemies off their feet.

At various locations throughout the game, Kirby can unite with and hop on characters with different helpful attributes. For example, Kine is a great swimmer, Nago can perform a triple jump, and Coo can fly. There are 48 attack combinations in all.

Kirby's best buddy Gooey, who has the same abilities as Kirby, fights alongside him and is controlled by the computer or the player using the second controller. Our heroes will journey through Grass Land, Ripple Field, Sand Canyon, Cloudy Park and Iceberg.

There are numerous items to pick up, such as warp stars, energy drink and invincible candy, and a variety of mini-games to play. When Kirby's vitality reaches zero, he loses a life. The game is over when he runs out of lives.
