Sometime in the 21st century, the metropolis known as Zeus Heaven Magic City has made a miraculous recovery from the fires of a nuclear World War III. But to survive in this city of power and technology, eating the protein found in food was required. Eventually, the secret organization of evil called Bath came to power under the slogan "the power of our protein and all." Bath is a force that increases every day, creating every rash of violent crime throughout the city. Zeus was in danger of ruin because the forces of Bath were constantly winning the battles.

Zeus' leaders, however, will believe that the project will proceed in secret. It is enhanced to create a soldier wearing the body armor, the strongest of the strongest. The ability to modify the human body was conceived. Finally, three humans were transformed into fighting robots.

When enemies are defeated, they drop various items of ingredients (food) that, after completion of a stage, can serve to replenish one's health meter. This is made possible through a process of mixing two ingredients together to create a meal (hence the name "gourmet" in the title). Some of the possible meals that can be made include a salad, spaghetti seafood, fried shrimp, ice cream, and scallops. Combinations of food can either be two of the same items (two vegetables can be combined to make a salad) or between two different food items (pork and rice can make a special meal in a bowl).

One of the game's notable features is that a button is used to make the character use various sentai poses when held down and used with the directional pad. While it is not beneficial, this was added to make the character flex his or her muscles for show. Each stage has a time limit; players lose all the ingredients that were acquired when the timer reaches zero. However, the game has no concept of how many lives the player can have in the game; it's an automatic game over if the player dies.

There is an Exhibition mode that can support two players and the Season mode. It is possible to choose between six bikes, and six different engineers whose skills match the player's racing style. While the bikes are slightly different from each other having different suspensions, engines and frames, there is no real difference between the engineers but still they will influence the improvement or worsening of the bike performance.

To be a successful racer, the player must invest in the best equipment and fine-tune his bike so that it runs at an optimal level. To do this, the player will have to race against 15 opponents on 13 tracks located in 12 countries in order to win some pocket money. The game features real tracks all over the world but, even though the display on the menu is correct for the tracks, while playing some turns are wrong or non-existent. During the championship, the player will receive money for getting the first positions on each race, which enable him to upgrade parts of his bike fine-tuning it for better performance. While learning each course, the player will have to find the perfect racing line if he wants to have a chance at winning. In Grand Prix racing there's a fine line between executing the userideal turn and making a mistake that will send the player flying off his bike and tumbling down the track.

The game features three game modes: "GP Race" which is present along with a "Practice" and "Race" mode, "Time Attack" which is the famous race against the clock, where the player runs into any circuit in search of the best time, and finally "Vs Battle" allows two players to duke it out head-to-head on the track of their choice. However the race will be only between player one against player two, it couldn't be played in the championship or against the CPU.

In compensation GP Race mode is a kind of career/season mode, where you will fight bravely to earn a place on the podium. It begins with a qualifying round in Japan, consisting of 4 local tracks, and in case you go well in them, you will qualify for the real GP-1 World Championship. Here there is another difference between the two versions, the American has no such qualifying round in Japan, it goes straight to the world championship. At the japanese qualifying round there are only available three motorcycles, after succeeding in the qualifying another three new motorcycles will be available.

In the world championship, you will race against racers from around the world in 13 tracks spread across all corners. Rival racers will intimidate and challenge the player to bet a few bucks to see who arrives before the race, but you can choose not to bet. The extra money you earned from rivals or as a reward of winning races and earn points can be used to upgrade the motorcycle. Earning enough points will let the player obtain better parts for their bike.

Gradius III for the Super NES looks and plays a lot like its coin-op counterpart, but, as with Super R-Type before it, it is plagued by horrendous slowdown when there are too many objects on screen at once. This disrupts the flow and the fun of what could have been a stellar shooter for the system. Also, the game is quite a bit easier than the original arcade version.

Based on the Where's Waldo? series of books, the goal of The Great Waldo Search is to find both Waldo and a letter in variety of crowded settings. As a bonus, if you find Waldo's dog Woof, you get to fly him on a magic carpet, collecting extra points. With its cute, colorful graphics and simple gameplay, the game is obviously aimed towards young children. More could have been done to increase the range of activities and environments, but the game should offer adequate entertainment value for the target audience.

Parachuted out of a bomber, the player has landed into hostile territory to defeat the enemy who is threatening Mother Earth with domination. The player is armed with a gun that fires rapid-fire bullets. Each direction it shoots can be fixed toward it so the player doesn't have to hold the joystick toward it. Players may find motorcycles to speed across enemy territory faster in addition to helicopters and cable cars. After scoring over any high score, whether they win or lose, players can enter their name into the high score list after the game over screen is "achieved". A strict time limit keeps the game going at a steady pace throughout; the consequence involves losing a life.

At first glance, Hammerlock Wrestling is an average wrestling title featuring 12 fictitious wrestlers, several modes of play (including four-player simultaneous), a somewhat limited number of moves (including special attacks), and a mediocre soundtrack. What sets it apart (in a bad way) is its bizarre split-screen, three-tiered presentation. The middle portion of the screen shows a side view of the ring and the wrestlers, while the top and bottom windows feature animated close-ups of the action. The animations are a cartoon-like treat, but the wrestling itself is limited by the small display.

The game is licensed by the Major League Baseball Players Association and is the sequel to Hardball II.

The console versions are simplified versions of the Hardball series found on the personal computers of the time. Season stats are logged through a lengthy password in these versions due to the lack of a hard disk drive that was already common in the more expensive personal computers at that time.

The player controls Harley, a man in a green suit who shrunk himself to size of a bar of soap. The player's mission is to gather parts of Harley's (presumably) now destroyed shrinking machine to return him to normal size. As the player advances through levels, they pick items such as tacks, rubberbands and marbles. The many locations the player adventures through is Harley's lab where the initial incident occurs, Harley's Kitchen, Harley's toy room, where the player pilots a toy tank by himself, Harley's Bathroom, and other stages.

This is an old school 2D platform game. Enemies include flies, bees, ants, and the main boss is a deformed rat that tries to jump on the player, and after each encounter utilizes a household item for the limb he lost in the last encounter.

The Humans is a puzzle game whose objective is to manipulate the given number of humans, taking advantage of abilities and tools, to achieve the level's goal, usually consisting of finding a certain tool, killing a certain number of dinosaurs, or bringing at least one human to the end point, marked by a conspicuous red tile. Each level is independent of the next, each with its own tools, goal, and set number of humans allowed per level. The only things that carry from level to level are the total number of humans in the player's tribe and the player's total score.

Modeled after, Psygnosis's Lemmings, series of games in that it is a timed puzzle game that requires the player to make each individual perform different tasks to achieve one goal, but differs in that it gives direct control of individual humans to the player, rather than only allowing the player to simply assign tasks. GameTek released this game in 1992, shortly after The Lemmings was released hoping to capitalize the popularity of this style of game. The Humans also derives its pre-game screen, featuring a code that may be used to reach that particular level, used by both The Lemmings as well as Populous.

is a cute and simple puzzle/action game by Magical. It features T-Rex like dinosaurs with googly eyes and the goal of the game is to lay as many colored eggs as possible within a time limit. The play field is a 9x9 grid and each dinosaur automatically drop eggs as he (or she) moves around it.

In a way similar to the popular Othello-type board game, surrounded eggs automatically change to the color of the encompassed eggs. Thanks to this feature, the outcome of a game is always uncertain and a win can be pulled off at the last second. Our dinosaurs can also change the color of any laid egg by ingesting it but this technique wastes time and can often cause our friends to give up the lead. A match is won by the dinosaur who wins the best of three rounds. A multi-player mode is also available where up to four players can fight against each other.

The year is 1984 and the Cold War rages on. You are Soviet Captain Marko Ramius, pilot of the Red October, the most powerful submarine in the world. Disillusioned with your homeland and its government, you decide to take your prototype sub and defect to the United States.

The Red October, which was made to be the flagship of the new Soviet submarine fleet, is equipped with torpedoes, bombs, surface and air missiles, and a cavitation drive, which enables to the sub to move with stealth. It also has electronic counter measures (ECMs), a device that floats out in front of the ship and causes enemy ships and subs to temporarily cease firing.

Obviously, the Russians aren't too pleased with your defection, so they send a fleet of submarines and planes to stop you. While firing away at the opposition, you should be careful of mines and depth charges.

Before you get too confident of your capabilities, understand that you must also undertake a number of specific missions, such as destroying an island stronghold harboring illegal arms merchants, escorting the Atlantic Queen cruise ship and defending offshore drilling platforms that have been targeted by saboteurs. There are nine missions in all, some of which support (but do not require) the Super Scope rifle. When using the scope, you will guide crosshairs around the screen, firing away at ships and planes.

Featuring in a children's TV cartoon, The Hurricanes are the most revered team in the World Soccer League. The Gorgons are desperate to beat them in a key match - so desperate that they have made it hard for the team to even get to the stadium. Taking control of one of their star players, you must trek through the jungle, mines and a temple to get them to the stadium on time.

The levels move from left to right but on several different vertical levels, and there is often more than 1 possible path, in a manner similar to Global Gladiators. Power-up tokens can be collected and traded in. Losing one of your 5 lives takes you back tot he last restart point - losing one of your continues takes you to the start of the world.
