War 2410 is a war-related video game.

In the year 2003, scientists have developed the perfect soldier through genetic engineering. Three usergroup of soldiers that were enginereed to protect humanity have revolted against their masters. As a result, four factions are fighting it out for control of the Earth. The player is in command of the GDA (Global Defense Alliance) and the primary objective for the game's twenty missions is the total annihilation of M.A.R.S. (a group of unsavory super humans who have turned against their masters), the Orcs, and the Cromes (which can be summarized as a group of self-sentient, self-aware combat robots). Capturing a lab results in the ability to build a superweapon to destroy the other factions; some missions require players to capture enemy bases for the war effort.

Each side has infantry, tanks, and the air force needed to get the job done. Units differ in movement and attacking range. Some ground units cannot attack air units and vice versa. Terrain also affects combat as some types of terrain, like trees or buildings improve a unit's defense. Attacked units always counterattack as long as the attacker is within range; the counterattack takes place at the same time as the attack. Even if the player finishes off a unit with his attack, they can still hurt the player.

This war would decide the fate of humanity and set the stage clear for its sequel War 3010: The Revolution. A mysterious intergalactic force known as the Kyllen would end up occupying the universe nearly 200 years after the end of this game's story line.

After winning the war in the year 2410, humanity was dominated by an intergalactic menace known as the Kyllen since the year 2610. In order to save humanity, the player must command a battle fleet - which was seized from the Kyllens by a group of human slaves. A space armada can be built between levels upgrading the vessels with the newest weapons and gears. The game uses the same strategy game feel as its prequel; War 2410. Passwords allow players to play various mini-games (i.e., chess and checkers) in addition to restoring their progress in the game.

Wario has taken over the peaceful woods of the Mushroom Kingdom, bringing unwelcome monsters along with him. Help Toad put an end to this madness by eliminating the monsters in Nintendo's Wario's Woods. Gameplay involves controlling Toad as he struggles to move the falling monsters into usergroup of three or more (diagonally, horizontally or vertically).

Your goal is to defeat all of the monsters on the level so you can move onto the next round. Friends Catherine and Sprite will toss bombs from a tree, so match them together with other bombs or monsters of the same color to remove them from the playing field. Wario will make appearances now and then to lower the tree's ceiling, so move quickly. If the entire screen fills up with bombs and monsters, the game will end!

Wario's Woods is for one or two players. Game modes include: Versus Mode against either the computer or a second player, Time Race, Lesson, Round Game, and Option to customize gameplay. A battery in the cartridge enables you to save your progress.

Based on the 1991 feature film, Warlock is a side-view action-adventure game in which the player must find six sacred stones and fight a tough-to-defeat, time-traveling wizard (most of the other bosses are easy to destroy). Skeletons, demons, and other enemies are vanquished via magical blasts and a fun-to-employ orb, which hovers around the hero and maneuvers boomerang-like in four directions. The orb can also be used to grab items. There are tricky puzzles to solve and numerous obstacles to overcome, such as bottomless pits to jump over and rising firestorms to outpace. The backgrounds and music are mood enhancing, but frustrating controls make for a disenchanting experience.

You are the only one brave enough to fly a lone Star Fighter into the heart of space. The Galactic Armed Services desperately needs your skills to protect its bases scattered across eight primary quadrants of the galaxy. They are the Earth's last line of defenses in a time of war. Aliens of multiple species have united to exploit this weakness, but they didn't count on their ships being spotted. Use the element of surprise to your advantage and take them out!

WarpSpeed places you in the cockpit of one of four starfighters: the Stinger, Striker, Stalker and Slasher in your effort to wipe out four alien races. Seven battle scenarios will let you hone your skills and earn medals for your bravery, and a Campaign mode will randomly link four new scenarios from a pool of ten. Each quadrant has 64 sectors each, bringing the total number of locations to 512. Your ship's Warp Drive will let you travel between quadrants as you seek out and destroy all hostile invaders. If you're good enough, you might be eligible for promotion!

The game is played from an overhead/isometric perspective with the player controlling the Mariner's boat on the ocean. The point of the game was to destroy the Smokers' boats and dive for sunken artifacts, at which point the game switches to a side on perspective so that the player can directly control the Mariner underwater.

Legendary puckmeister Wayne Gretzky as well as players from 32 NHL teams are represented in this hockey game for the SNES. Because Wayne Gretzky and the NHLPA All-Stars is not authorized by the NHL, team names are represented by their respective cities and official team logos are absent from the players' jerseys. Each player is ranked according to speed, shooting accuracy, toughness, and offensive and defensive awareness. Statistics are based on the 1993-94 NHL season.

Your or you and up to three friends can compete in exhibition games, tournaments, or the playoffs. You can play each game in simulation mode, which mimics professional hockey rule by rule (with the exception of icing), or you can choose the arcade mode, which is faster and has less penalties called. Also, to brush up on your fundamentals, you can rehearse specific moves without defenders by choosing the practice option. Other features in this game include trading players, optional fighting, and the ability to change team names and colors.

WCW Superbrawl Wrestling is loaded with features guaranteed to make wrestling fans get off the mat and take notice, but poor graphics and gameplay bring it down for the count. Players can wrestle solo or challenge a friend, or team up for a four-player tag team brawl. Sting, Ric Flair, and ten other top WCW superstars are equipped with a variety of punches, piledrivers, knockdowns, slams, and other moves (including signature finishing moves), and players can customize the rules and timing. Regrettably, the digitized wrestlers are sluggish and poorly animated, and sound effects are sparse, making for a boringly frustrating fighting experience.

Based on the famous television game show, Wheel of Fortune: Deluxe Edition stars a digitized version of Vanna White, the lovely woman on the program whose job is to turn the letters on the game board. (In the current rendition (1999) of the show, she merely touches a letter to make it visible.)

Standing before a wall of hidden letters which will eventually spell out one of more than 4,000 phrases, places, things, or events, you must spin a giant wheel (which is pictured on another screen) and hope the pointer lands on a high dollar amount. If the wheel does land on any one of the dollar amounts, you can either try to buy a vowel (if you have accumulated at least $250 in the current round) or guess a consonant. If you guess a consonant correctly in the puzzle, you score points and get to continue spinning. If you successfully buy a vowel, you don1t score any cash, but it is still your turn and the puzzle is that much closer to being solved.

During any of your turns, you may choose to solve the puzzle before or after you guess a letter correctly. If the wheel stops on BANKRUPT or LOSE A TURN, or if you run out of time, then it1s automatically the next person1s turn. If the wheel lands on FREE SPIN, you can use it right away or save it for later in the round. Rounds two through four are similar to round one except higher dollar amounts are added to the wheel. Round five is a speed-up round in which the wheel is spun for you.

If you are determined the winner, you get to play a bonus round by yourself. You can play this game against the computer, or you can compete against one or two friends.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego started what would become a hit series of games and it even spawned television program. You begin the game as a rookie detective at the ACME Detective Agency. Your main objective is to capture the world's greatest thief, Carmen Sandiego.

The game is divided into a number of cases that must be solved in order to progress through five different ranks. To solve each case witnesses need to be interviewed which will provide the player with descriptions of the criminal and the criminal's next location. Using a crime computer a possible suspect can be found and a warrant can be issued.

Tracking criminals is where most of your time will be spent. Take the information gained from witnesses and using a World Almanac (included with the game) you must determine from a list of possible destinations where the criminal went. Going to the wrong location will waste time and if the criminal cannot be caught within the time limit then they will escape.

The notorious ringleader of an international band of thieves, Carmen Sandiego is back on the prowl. Prison doesn't seem to hold Carmen or her group for very long and this time they've broken into a super-secret laboratory and gained control of the latest model Time Machine. That's right, in this mission, you'll track Carmen Sandiego through time itself.

Carmen and her thieves are using the time machine to loot the most famous treasures of the past 1500 years: Napoleon's hat, Don Quixote's lance, and even Paul Revere's horse! You are being issued the latest in portable time travel devices -- the Chronoskimmer 325i. Using this machine, you'll be able to travel through 1500 years and 48 locations, electronically scan the crime scene, and translate conversations with witnesses.

Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? is a single-player game in which you gather information and travel to different places to discover the whereabouts of a criminal. You'll have a limited amount of time in which to solve a case and if you don't finish within this time, the game is over.

In the position of Time Cadet, you'll travel through time, track the criminals' movements, figure out where he or she is going next, obtain a warrant for his or her arrest, and send a "Capture Robot" to arrest the thief. By interviewing eyewitnesses and finding objects, you'll gain the clues necessary to figure out where each criminal is traveling to next. In order to obtain a warrant, you'll need to have enough details about the criminal for a Positive ID. Simply knowing the hair color of the criminal won't do the trick.

Each time you catch a criminal and complete a case, you'll get closer to receiving promotions. In the beginning you start as a Time Cadet, but as you move up the ranks you'll become a Time Patroller, Time Investigator, Time Inspector, Time Detective, Ace Time Detective, and Super Time Sleuth. Travel all the way back to the year 400 A.D. when the Roman empire crumbled and then forward to 1750 A.D. where Carmen is interested in stealing the crown jewels.

In Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? you must learn your history in order to capture Carmen and her thieves. ACME is counting on you to save the precious treasures of the past and nab this notorious criminal. So pack your bags and prepare to travel back in time!

Shoot through narrow canyons, across treacherous deserts, over stalactites, even on top of floating islands! Battery backup will save your statistics, course records and up to ten created golfers. The five game modes include Tournament, Stroke Play, Skins Play, Match Play and Practice.

A series of menu screens is used to set up your shot, such as adjusting foot position, club selection and point of impact. Swings are performed through a circular meter which allows you to determine both the power and accuracy of each shot. Not sure how to make your approach? Wing Commander, released in 1990 by Origin Systems, is a simulation style action game interwoven with a cinematic storyline set in the 27th century. In the first scenario, the player takes the role of a young Lieutenant who has just been assigned to the carrier ship Tiger's Claw, the pride of the Confederate Navy. As the primary goal of the game unfolds, you learn of the Confederation's campaign to take Vega Sector from the Kilrathi.

What made this game so popular was that it didn't attempt to model real-world physics with a completely accurate simulation of space flight, but concentrated instead on providing a fun, intense, first-person space dogfighting experience. Several things distinguished it from other games upon its initial release: the graphics, music, and sound were all revolutionary, surpassing most (if not all) other competing products in the industry at the time. The storyline, of which a short segment unraveled after each mission the player flew, had many plot devices rarely used before in a computer game of its type: character development, interpersonal conflict, ethics, and more

Wing Commander: The Secret Missions is a Space Combat Sim game, developed and published by Mindscape Inc., which was released in 1993.

The Tiger's Claw, on maneuvers in the Goddard System, receives an abortive distress call from Goddard colony. When the Claw arrives, though, nothing is left but wreckage and corpses; a quarter of a million colonists have been killed. Confed realizes that this is the work of a new Kilrathi weapon, the "Graviton weapon," which is able to increase the power of gravity by over a hundred times. Clever work by the Claw's crew and pilots allows them to capture a Kilrathi courier ship, which reveals that this weapon is mounted on an entirely new class of ship; CNC codenames it the Sivar-class dreadnought, after the Kilrathi god of war. Bluehair leads the strike against the Sivar and destroys it in the Vigrid system; for unexplained reasons, ships of that class and armament are never seen again.
