Yuusuke...Botan...Kazuma...Kurama...Hiei...and more. They're all here in this Beat 'em up, which both Otanooki Temple and Harry Tuttle of the Dump have called "the best fighter ever made for the Genesis." Take your your choice of characters, each with unique talents and attacks (rei gun, reikinoken, rose whip, jagan, dragon spirit, etc.) Inspired by the popular anime series that first premiered on Japanese television in 1992.

A strange mix of adventure, RPG, and fighting, with good graphics. There is probably a lot more depth to this game than meets the eye.

The unique format used in this game is that of cinematic battles played out as you put in the proper button presses.

This game is kinda strange. It's like a One-on-One fighter

Zen: Intergalactic Ninja, based on a comic book of the same name, is a story about a militant environmentalist ninja named Zen. He has been assigned by a group a green, pointy-headed aliens to come to earth and stop environmental pollution by any means necessary. Eventually, he will have to find the big polluter, Lord Contaminous. The game play consists of side scrolling and isometric 3D scrolling action. Zen can run, jump, slice with this stick, or use power-ups as the game requires.

One stage has Zen planting time bombs in a toxic factory and attempting to escape within 99 seconds. Standing in his way are roving lasers, security robots, and floating conveyor belts. The second stage takes place in an acid rain-drenched forest. Zen must revive the flowers in the forest with his photon stick while beating off acid rain-spewing floating mechanical devices.

The next stage takes place on an off shore oil rig that is going up in flames. Zen must grab fire extinguisher power-ups and rescue trapped rig workers while dodging sentient oil slicks and raining fireballs. Another stage is called the High Speed Railway stage. The goal is to stop the garbage men spreading nuclear waste. Zen is in a mining cart racing underground and fighting other enemies in carts. Zen can make this cart jump, which we will have to do often in order to survive the dangers of the mine.

The video game is based on the Zen-Nippon Pro Wrestling League and features the likenesses of their most famous stars during that era. Following the template established by the classic video games of the genre, the game allows players to play as any of the 16 wrestling stars and then throws him to the ring to fight opponents until one emerges victorious. These wrestlers include Shohei Baba, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi, Stan Hansen, and Naoya Ogawa. The player can attack his opponent with several moves (unique to each character). Upon "locking-on" by getting too close to the other wrestler, the player can execute grapples and throws. The game uses 2D graphics from a heightened camera view and includes a plethora of game modes including single-player championship and tournament modes (with single or tag team variants for both), two-player versus, team battle, and a training mode where the player can learn the basics of the game.

Zero The Kamikaze Squirrel is a spin-off of the Aero the Acro-Bat series.

The plot begins halfway through the plot of "Aero the Acrobat 2". Zero receives a note from his girlfriend Amy that evil lumberjack Jaques Le sheets is destroying his forest homeland in order to use the trees for printing money. Zero, despite the protests not to do it from his master Edgar Ektor (who tells him nothing is more important than his mission with him, notably referring to Ektor's plan B from Aero 2), decides to return home and stop Le Sheets (which explains why Zero is absent from Ektor's side in the Aero 2 final battle). When arriving his home island, Zero's plane is shot down and crashes on the beach, so he must make his way to the forest on his own.

Introducing our three chief protagonists: Aero the Acrobat, a daredevil bat who is the star of the circus; Edgar Ektor, clown prince and mean guy extraordinare; and Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, Ektor's chief henchman whose sense of duty and loyalty seem strangely misplaced.

Probably the most concerted effort by a software house in cloning the success of the Sonic series. Gets old fast, ridiculous in places, but you never lack for action. These games sold by the bucketful when they were first released, so Sunsoft's stratagem must have worked.

In Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, a spinoff from the Aero the Acrobat games, Zero gets the chance to play hero for a change - the best of the series, it compares well with the original Sonic in its own way.

Zool is a gremlin "Ninja of the Nth Dimension" who is forced to land on Earth. In order to gain ninja ranking he has to pass six lands.

The game is a pure platform game, relying on smooth, fast moving gameplay, colorful graphics and a popular soundtrack by Patrick Phelan which overlaps with the Lotus 3 soundtrack and has inspired several modern electro/techno remixes. The game also contains a number of embedded minigames, including several arcade games, a scrolling space shooter and a game accessible only by making Zool play a certain tune on an in-game piano or finding certain invisible warp points.

Once every year, the games world is rocked by a game so stunning, so fast, so colorful, so big, so demanding, so mega, so awesome, so varied , so incredible, and so full of fabulous features and unexpected treats, that everybody just looks at it and says "THAT'S IT!" This year, ZOOL, THE NINJA FROM THE Nth DIMENSION, is definitely "IT!"

Meet Zool the Ninja - faster than a speeding Sonic, more powerful than Ken the Street Fighter, able to leap tall fighting mecha in a single bound! Yes, it's Zool - strange visitor from another world who has crash-landed on the very planet he was supposed to be rescuing! Can he still save the day?

This neat little Sonic clone was quite popular when it was originally released for the almighty Amiga, as Sega was rather reluctant at that time to port Sonic away from the Genesis. It seems a bit childish now that there are so many other good titles to compete with it, but it's still worth the look.

His name is Zool. He is a Ninja in the 2345th dimension, 5 worlds each with 4 stages.
In this platformer, you can run, jump, climb walls and shoot the enemies. There are also some power-ups for Zool: life-spending hearts, smart bombs, shields, more powerful jump-skill and a twin Zool.

In the options you can change the difficulty and the game-speed two times, the continues and the background music (Rock or Funk).

Easy access platform action that's let down by a sorry amount of challenge.
